In a method for selecting a game element of a game and adjusting the game element during execution of the game, a processor retrieves a plurality of received game element feedback data from a plurality of users of a game, wherein the plurality of received game element feedback data was selected from a list of possible game elements. A processor selects the game element to be adjusted, based upon the plurality of received game element feedback data. A processor causes the game element to be adjusted during execution of the game.

Game adjustments through crowdsourcing

An approach is provided to control information display at an augmented reality device. In the approach, a biometric value is received from a biometric input device. The biometric input device is a device that receives biometric data from a user of the augmented reality device. The received biometric value is compared to a number of previously established biometric input ranges that correspond to the user. Each of the biometric input ranges corresponds to a different display policy. The comparison identifies a selected display policy. The display detail of the augmented reality device is then automatically set according to the selected display policy.

Modifying information presented by an augmented reality device

An approach is provided in which a disincentive is provided during the execution of a video game program that is operated by a current user. One or more disincentive factors are identified that correspond to the current user. The identified disincentive factors are compared with current time factors. Based on the comparison, one or more game characteristics are altered with the game characteristics being altered in order to provide a disincentive to continued operation of the video game program by the current user.
