This female element of a quick connector that connects to a male element and has a hollow body, which extends along an insertion axis and which delimits a receiving volume for the male element. Radial openings, formed in the body along a radial axis, open into the receiving volume. Each radial opening receives a latch, translatable in relation to the body along the corresponding radial axis, between a locked and an unlocked position. The female element has an actuating ring arranged about the body and translatable between a locked and an unlocked position. The ring has guide grooves, which interact with pins of each latch. The guide grooves associated with each latch are geometrically carried by a guide plane inclined in relation to the insertion axis so that each latch is driven between its locked and unlocked positions when the actuating ring is moved between its locked and unlocked positions.

The invention relates to a quick coupling, made up of a male element and a female element. The male element includes a cylindrical male body, defining a longitudinal cavity, a distal mouth, and a valve movable axially inside the cavity between a forward position in which the valve closes off the mouth and a withdrawn position in which the valve does not close off the mouth. The female element includes a cylindrical female body, defining a longitudinal cavity and a distal mouth, a push-piece, and a slide valve. The male body or the push-piece delimits a fluid passage channel connecting an inside of the cavity to the distal mouth, and the passage channel, emerging inside the cavity of the male element or the female element, fits inside a circle, the diameter of which is respectively larger or smaller than that of the first and second sealing gaskets.

The invention relates to a quick coupling for the detachable connection of two pipes through which a pressurized fluid flows, the quick coupling made up of a male element and a female element. The male element includes a male cylindrical body defining a cavity, a valve movable axially within the cavity, and a first sealing gasket. The female element includes a female cylindrical body defining a cavity, a slide valve movable axially within the cavity, a second sealing gasket, and a peripheral groove that houses either the first or second sealing gasket. A proximal or distal edge of the peripheral groove extends between two planes that are perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the male or female element, respectively between a proximal plane and a distal plane, which are offset relative to one another along the longitudinal axis.

A circuit breaker for a facility for handling pressurized fluid includes a male element and a female element. The male element includes a male body defining a first inner pipe, having a member for closing off the front end of the first pipe from at least one first radial passage of a movable valve, and a locking notch arranged on the male body. The female element includes a female body defining a second inner pipe and provided with at least one radial passage, a movable valve and several locking members movable between a first radial position, for the axial locking of the male and female bodies in the coupled configuration, and a second radial position, where the locking members free the passage of the male body in the female body. The coupling comprises a male plug () and a female element (). A retaining latch () for retaining the plug () in the female element () is movable between a first position in which said latch () is capable of retaining the plug () engaged to a first depth in the female element () in which it is connected in leaktight manner to said female element, and a second position in which said latch () is suitable for retaining the male plug () engaged to a second depth that is smaller than the first depth. The latch () is configured in such a manner as to be returned (F) towards the second position at least in part by positive pressure in a passage () for purging the downstream pipe when the plug is at the second depth. In a variant embodiment, the coupling includes an adapter that the latch is suitable for retaining.

Quick coupling for joining together two pipes for conveying a gas under pressure

A quick coupler for joining two pipes that includes a male element adapted to be fitted into a female element and maintained in position by a latch forming a stop and opposing withdrawal of the male element. A movable safety member maintains the latch in a blocked position, under the force of pressure of fluid in the coupler, by the cooperation of two surfaces provided, one on the latch and one on the safety member, that are forced into engagement with one another. The safety member releases the latch when a residual pressure in the coupler drops to a safe level.
