An attaching ring or fixing ring is provided for attaching or fixing a dispenser member to a neck of a receptacle containing a substance to be dispensed. The ring is annular and has a bottom portion and a top portion. In a preferred embodiment, the bottom portion includes snap-fastening tabs for fixing the ring to the neck. The top portion includes an opening for the dispenser and a surrounding structure for securing the dispenser member to the neck. The top portion further includes at least one guide wall element extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the dispenser member and around the periphery of the fixing ring substantially in line with the snap-fastening tabs. A hoop can be provided for preventing the tabs from splaying apart. The hoop can include an internal projection, such as a vertical rib or a thread.

An attachment device is provided to attach a distribution device, such as a pump or a valve, onto a neck of a recipient. The attachment device comprises a ring forming a skirt equipped with an attachment structure, such as clip-on heads, designed to co-operate with the neck of the recipient. A reception structure is provided to receive the distribution device. An annular plate extends radially inwards from the skirt. The plate is designed to be pressed against the upper end of the neck, with an inserted seal if required. The plate can be moved axially upwards away from the attachment structure by pressing the plate on the upper end of the neck.

A device for fixing a dispenser member such as a pump on the neck of a receptacle containing a substance to be dispensed, the device being characterized in that it has a single fixing element made of a deformable material and disposed in the neck of the receptacle between the inside surface of the receptacle neck and the outside surface of the body of the dispenser member, the fixing element being, in the assembled state of the fixing device, deformed and/or compressed by the body of the dispenser member being engaged in the neck of the receptacle in such a manner that it exerts a radial force on the body of the dispenser member and on the neck of the receptacle, the radial force providing reliable and leakproof fixing of the dispenser member to the neck of the receptacle.
