A sensor device for potential and/or impedance measurements on a body of a user, including a central electronic unit and at least a first sensor and a second sensor. Each sensor is connected to the central electronic unit by a one-wire connector. Each sensor includes a current electrode and a potential electrode destined to be in contact with a surface of the body. The master includes a master current source configured to circulate a master current in the one-wire connector, the current electrode of the at least first and second sensors and the body, when the sensors are in contact with a surface of the body. Each sensor includes a harvesting device configured to harvest energy from the circulating master current in a powering frequency band.

Sensor device for potential and impedance measurements

Sensor circuit device for measuring a bio-potential and/or a bio-impedance of a body, including a master circuit, and at least two active bi-electrodes connected to, and remotely powered by, the master circuit via single-wire first connector. The sensor circuit device further includes a single passive current electrode being connected to the master circuit via single-wire second connector. The sensor circuit device cooperates with a biological signal amplifier configured to measure a bio-potential and/or a bio-impedance. Each active bi-electrode is connectable to the biological signal amplifier via the first connector, such that a bio-potential of the body is measurable between the two active bi-electrodes when the active bi-electrodes and the single current electrode are in contact with a surface of the body.

A sensor for potential and/or impedance measurements on a body including at least one sensor connected to a master; the master including a power supply supplying a power signal transmitted to the at least one sensor; said at least one sensor including a first sensor fork sub-circuit configured to supply a positive current to a first circuit branch and a negative current to a second circuit branch; the at least one sensor further including a control circuit configured for controlling the positive and/or negative current in order to transmit an information signal to the master, and/or to control a first controlled signal to a first desired signal; and a second electrical connection connecting the at least one sensor to the master; the control circuit being further configured for harvesting energy from the alternating voltage supplied by the master to power the at least one sensor.

Remotely powered cooperative sensor device

Method for bio impedance measurement on a skin surface of a living body, using a bio impedance measurement device having a sensing electrode and a pilot electrode, includes the steps of placing the sensing electrode and pilot electrode on the surface of the body; providing a guard electrode adapted to separate the surface in at least two zones, among which a sensing zone including the sensing electrode and a current injection zone including the pilot electrode; providing a controller, electrically connected to the electrodes, adapted to control the current source; and controlling the potential of the guard electrode, at least at given stopping frequencies, in order to stop current from flowing from one zone to the other.

Method and device for bio impedance measurement

In general, one aspect of the subject matter described in this specification features a torquer apparatus that includes a rotor with magnetic poles such that, when radially projected on a concentric octahedron, the same symmetrical pattern is obtained on all faces of the octahedron, the polarity of the poles projected on two adjacent faces of the octahedron being opposite. A stator with at least twenty poles magnetized with coils and such that, when radially projected on a concentric icosahedron, the same symmetrical pattern is obtained on all faces of the icosahedron, the stator being-in nominal position-concentric with the rotor. Real-time measurements, or equivalent information, of the position of the rotor with respect to the stator, and real-time measurements, or equivalent information, of exported torque from the stator, or of the orientation of the rotor with respect to the stator can be obtained. A controller for controlling the current in the coils based on the measurements, or the equivalent information, such that the rotor is magnetically held in the nominal position, and that the desired torque is exported.
