Control of access to an on-line service, the access to the service being requested, via a communication network, by a terminal suitable for receiving data broadcast by a plurality of devices for data transmission by light modulation producing a light beam. In particular: each transmission device is characterized by a unique identifier; and each transmission device belongs to a group of devices. The following steps, carried out by a server connected to the transmission devices, are provided: upon receiving a request from the terminal to access the service via a second transmission device identified by a second identifier, verifying whether a previous access request for said same terminal was accepted for a first transmission device identified by a first identifier; and, when the first and second identifiers correspond to devices of the same group, processing the access request.

The invention relates to an illuminating device including a plurality of light sources mounted on a deck, the device being such that it includes a first set of light sources placed in a central zone of the deck and a second set of light sources placed in a peripheral zone of the deck, the light sources of one of the sets each being suitable for transmitting data by modulation of visible light, the light sources of at least one of the sets being associated with at least one fixed convergent first lens positioned on the axis of said sources.

Combined illumination and optical communication device

An amplifying optical electromagnetic wave concentrator includes an amplification focusing device and a receiver. The amplification focusing device focuses an incident optical electromagnetic wave on the receiver. The amplification focusing device is doped with active components and is subjected to an excitation wave that causes the active components to pass to an energy level such that interaction between the incident electromagnetic wave and the active components causes the active components to pass to a lower energy level and causes emission, towards the receiver, of at least one photon having the same wavelength as the incident electromagnetic wave. The focused photon or photons form an amplified wave of the incident electromagnetic wave.
