Solid formulations of carboxamide arthropodicides

Disclosed are suspension concentrate compositions comprising by weight based on the total weight of the composition, about 0.1 to about 40% of at least one carboxamide arthropodicide; 0 to about 20% of at least one other biologically active agent; about 30 to about 95% of at least one water-immiscible liquid carrier; about 2 to about 50% of at least one emulsifier; about 0.01 to about 10% of a silica thickener; about 0.1 to about 10% of at least one protic solvent selected from water, a C-Calkanol and a C-Cglycol; and about 0.001 to about 5% of at least one water-soluble carboxylic acid. A method for controlling an arthropod pest comprising diluting said suspension concentrate composition with water, and optionally adding an adjuvant to form a diluted composition, and contacting the arthropod pest or its environment with an effective amount of said diluted composition is also disclosed.

Liquid formulations of carboxamide arthropodicides

Methods are provided for pelletizing a microbial biomass, extracting a refined lipid composition from the pelletized biomass under supercritical conditions and distilling the refined lipid composition, at least once under short path distillation conditions, to obtain a lipid-containing fraction. Also disclosed are methods of making lipid-containing oil concentrates therefrom, by transesterifying and enriching the lipid-containing fraction.

Method for obtaining a lipid-containing composition from microbial biomass

Disclosed are suspension concentrate compositions comprising by weight based on the total weight of the composition, (a) from about 0.1 to about 50% of one or more carboxamide arthropodicides that are solid at room temperature; ( b) from 0 to about 50% of one or more biologically active agents other than the carboxamide arthropodicides; (c) from about 20 to about 70% of water; (d) from about 10 to about 70% of one or more water-immiscible liquid compounds; and (e) from about 1 to about 55% of a surfactant component having a dispersing property. This invention also relates to a method for controlling an arthropod pest comprising diluting said suspension concentrate composition with water, optionally adding an adjuvant to form a diluted composition, and contacting the arthropod pest or its environment with an effective amount of said diluted composition.

A dispersant slurry for making spandex, based on phosphated block poly(alkylsiloxane)-poly(alkyleneether) alcohol or aromatic- or alkylaromatic-terminated phosphated poly(alkyleneether) alcohol dispersants, is provided.
