The fuel supply apparatus according to the invention is improved in a simple manner in that it is provided with short fuel lines. According to the invention, the drive line of the suction jet pumps is connected to a pressure line downstream of the fuel supply pump and has at least one check valve or a siphon.

A fuel feeding module for a motor vehicle has a fuel supply tank, a storage container arranged in the fuel supply tank, a feeding aggregate arranged in the storage container and feeding fuel from the storage container to an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle, the feeding aggregate having a driving part and a pump part which is formed as a flow pump and has a rotatably driven impeller cooperating with at least one flow passage for feeding the fuel, a jet pump which is connected with the flow passage of the pump part of the feeding aggregate and through which the fuel is fed from the fuel supply tank into the storage container, the jet pump being arranged laterally near the feeding aggregate and connected with the flow passage of the pump part by a passage which extends along the bottom of the storage container.

An aggregate for feeding fuel from a fuel supply tank to an internal combustion engine, the aggregate has a housing through which fuel flows, a feeding pump and a motor which drives the pump, the feeding pump and the motor being arranged in the housing so that behind the feeding pump as considered in a flow direction a pressure chamber limited by the feeding pump is provided, a valve communicating the pressure chamber with an outer chamber, the valve having a closing element which during a normal operation of the feeding aggregate is held in a closing position so that the pressure chamber is separated from the outer chamber, the valve having a first passage with a first fluid flow and communicating the pressure chamber with the outer chamber, a second passage with a second fluid flow flowing around the closing element and leading in a joint opening toward the outer chamber, so that with increasing first fluid flow before and after the closing element as considered in the closing direction a pressure difference is formed and the closing element is transferable from an opening position to a closing position.

An aggregate for feeding fuel from a supply tank to an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle has a feeding pump having two end walls forming a pump chamber with a suction opening and a pressure opening and a feed element rotatable in the pump chamber so as to supply fuel from the suction opening to the pressure opening. At least one of the end walls is provided with a groove-shaped unloading passage in a region between an end surface of the feeding element and a sealing surface of the one end wall and communicating through a further opening the pump chamber with a low pressure region. The suction opening has an end facing in a rotary direction of the feeding element. The unloading passage is located near the end of the suction opening.

At least one of the chamber end walls in a region of a sealing surface formed between an end surface of the feeding element and one of the chamber walls has an opening which leads to an unloading space, and the opening as considered in a rotary direction of the feeding element is located near one edge which limits the suction opening, and has a radial extension which is at least equal to a radial extension of the suction opening.
