Interactive editing of a web application at a user end station is described. The user end station dynamically loads into a running instance of the web application an interactive editor that allows editing of one or more user interface (UI) components of that running instance of the web application. A selection of a DOM element of the web application is received and a UI component that corresponds to the selected DOM element is determined. A set of parameters associated with the determined UI component is also determined. A value editor is displayed that is configured to display for at least one of the set of parameters a value and allows for that value to be modified. A modification of at least the value of the at least one of the set of parameters is received and the running instance of the web application is updated to reflect the modified value.

A device initiates voice control through gaze detection. The device detects that a user is gazing at a gaze target. Responsive to that detection, the device captures audio and performs automatic speech recognition of the captured audio to turn the audio into text. The device performs natural language understanding on the text to determine an application-specific command. The device performs application-specific processing for the application-specific command.

A receiving device receives from a base unit across a network an instruction stream that includes drawing commands for producing graphic frames of a user interface. The receiving device is connected to a display. The receiving device parses the instruction stream to determine the drawing commands and their arguments. The receiving device executes the drawing commands in a graphics engine of the receiving device to generate the graphic frames of the user interface. Executing includes performing rendering functions and interpolating coordinates for animation. The receiving device outputs the graphic frames of the user interface for display.

A living room convergence device includes a case, a mainboard, a central processor, and a thermal solution. The case includes a bottom portion that includes air intake holes and a top portion that includes air exhaust holes. The thermal solution includes a heatsink sitting atop the mainboard of the living room convergence device, the heatsink to dissipate heat from the central processor. The thermal solution also includes a fan assembly including rotating fan blades and a motor that drives the rotating fan blades, creating a bottom-to-up swirling airflow starting from the air intake holes and exiting through the air exhaust holes.

A hub device receives a first event message from an event device that describes an event on the event device. The hub device converts the first event message to a second event message that is understandable to the action device that is communicatively coupled with the hub device through a communication protocol and divides the second event message into multiple chunks, each of which having a size within a data value update limit of the communication protocol. The action device is subscribed to receive updates from the hub device. The hub device transmits each respective one of the chunks over the communication protocol to the action device to allow the action device to take one or more actions in response to the second event message.

Communicating event data from an event device to an action device

A user equipment (UE) device for programmatic runtime generation of an application. The UE device receives a UI definition file that includes definitions indicating visual appearance attributes of portions of the application, a set of components that are UI building blocks to be presented within the application, and a set of behaviors that may be performed by the components, where the definitions include attribute-value pairs. The UE device receives a set of component definition files that include code for implementing components that includes the components indicated by the UI definition file and after a beginning of an execution of the application, the UE device parses the UI definition file to identify the visual appearance attributes, the set of components, and the set of behaviors; and dynamically instantiates the set of components based upon the parsed UI definition file and the set of component definition files to create the application.
