Fastening device

A suspension assembly () comprising: a support member () for supporting an item; an elongate suspension article () defining a securing opening (); and a securing device () on the support member (). The support member () defines an aperture () through which the suspension article () can be inserted. The securing device () has a securing member () movable across the aperture () between a securing position and a non-securing position. The securing member () is receivable through the securing opening () in the suspension article () to secure the support member () to the suspension article () when the suspension article () is received through the aperture () and the securing member () is in the securing position.

A securing bracket () comprises a fastening arrangement () at which the securing bracket () can be fastened to a support (). The securing bracket () further includes an array () of further arrangements of the securing bracket (). The array () comprises a holding arrangement () for holding an article () against the support (), and an urging arrangement to urge the holding arrangement () towards the support (). The securing bracket () comprises an elongate member () shaped into said fastening arrangement () and said array (). A further securing bracket () comprises a fastening arrangement () at which the securing bracket () can be fastened to a support () and a holding arrangement () for holding an article (). The holding arrangement () comprises a coil. The further securing bracket () comprises an elongate member () shaped into said fastening arrangement () and said holding arrangement ().
