A sensor which encompasses at least one sensing element for recording at least one measured quantity. The sensor also has one sensor body for holding the sensing element. The sensing element has at least one connecting lead. The sensor has a modular design and includes a contacting module, whose design is separate from that of the sensor body, for electrically contacting the sensing element. The contacting module has at least one connecting element and at least one connector contact pin, the connector contact pin being surrounded in at least one connection region by the connecting element. The connector contact pin is electrically connected to the connecting lead.

A method is described for producing a pressure sensor assembly, the pressure sensor assembly having a sensor housing element having a pressure sensor and a base housing element, which have a continuous recess accommodating the pressure sensor and are welded to each other. It is provided that, after the welding, in the area of the welding connection, the recess of the base housing element and/or the sensor housing element is enlarged by material removal. A plug-in sensor for measuring at least one property of a fluid medium, in particular for use in the coolant circuit of an air conditioning system of a motor vehicle. The plug-in sensor has at least one sensor for detecting the at least one property. Furthermore, the plug-in sensor has at least one sensor body having an external thread for threading the plug-in sensor into a threaded bore hole of a housing. Furthermore, the plug-in sensor includes a sealing surface for sealing an inner space of the housing against an outer space. The external thread has at least two threaded sections: a first threaded section including at least one continuous thread, and a second threaded section including at least one interrupted thread, at least one interruption of the at least one interrupted thread forming at least one blow-out groove.

A threaded connection piece, e.g., a connection piece of a sensor, includes a cylindrical base body that is able to be at least partially introduced into an accommodating opening, which is provided, at least over a part of its longitudinal extension, with a threaded section and, at its end face, with a sealing surface. In order to improve the sealing properties of the threaded connection piece when it is screwed into the accommodating opening, the cylindrical base body is developed to be elastic between the threaded section and the sealing surface.

A sensor plug for pressure and temperature measurement of a fluid medium includes a sensor body having a sensor body axis, as well as a pressure sensor disposed substantially concentrically on the sensor body axis. Also provided in the sensor body is a through orifice for connecting the pressure sensor to the fluid medium, and a temperature sensing element orifice having a temperature sensing element received therein. The temperature sensing element orifice has a temperature sensing element orifice axis that is inclined with respect to the sensor body axis in such a way that at its end pointing toward the fluid medium, it is inclined toward the sensor body axis.

A combined pressure and temperature sensor for recording the pressure and the temperature of a medium. The combined pressure and temperature sensor includes a sensor element in which at least one channel is developed for accommodating a temperature sensor and at least one channel is developed for recording a pressure. The at least one channel, for recording a pressure, opens out under a pressure sensor. The at least one channel for the temperature sensor runs centrically in the sensor element.

This is followed by a removal of the sacrificial layer underneath the region of the sensor element, a fixation of the region of the sensor element with the aid of a holding device, rupturing of the connecting points and a transfer of the sensor element, fixated by the holding device, and connecting a carrier to the component as well as joining with a carrier to the component.

The invention relates to an economical pressure measuring device as well as to a favorable method for pressure determination, with which a pressure measurement can be performed from outside the high-pressure container. To that end, the device comprises an ultrasound transmitter mounted outside the pressure container and an ultrasound receiver by means of which transmitter and receiver the transit time of an ultrasonic pulse traveling through the liquid contained in the high-pressure container can be ascertained, and the method comprises generating an ultrasonic pulse outside the high-pressure container measuring the time that the ultrasonic pulse requires to traverse a defined distance calculating the pulse speed of the pulse in the liquid; and from that determining the pressure in the liquid.

A capacitive pressure sensor made up of two silicon on insulator (SOI) wafers lying opposite of each other and joined to each other in a vacuum-tight manner, a recess being formed between the two wafers. The first wafer exclusively supports the evaluation circuits required for measuring the applied pressure and a capacitive electrode, and the second wafer has a recess formed by surface micromechanics processes, in which the counter electrode to the capacitive electrode of the first wafer is situated. The second wafer at the same time forms a cover for the first wafer.
