A filter element is provided with a filter medium body that is a folded filter of filter paper. The filter medium body has an inflow side and an outflow side. A sealing element is arranged on the filter medium body. At an end edge face, the filter medium body has an adhesive bead filling at least partially intermediate fold spaces at end edges of the folds. The filter medium body has a lateral band adhesively connected to and covering the end edge face positioned at an angle relative to the inflow and outflow sides. The lateral band is connected to end edges of the folds at the end edge face and extends all the way to the inflow and outflow sides. The lateral band has at least one leg resting on the inflow side or the outflow side adjacent to a rim area of the filter medium body.

Filter element, in particular for gas filtration

A filter system has a housing with a housing wall and at least one lid. An inlet socket is arranged at the housing and feeds a fluid to be filtered into the housing. An outlet socket is arranged at the housing and discharges the fluid that has been filtered from the housing. A sensor socket is arranged at an end section of the housing. The sensor socket is arranged angularly relative to a longitudinal axis of the housing at the outlet socket.

Air filter

A filter insert has a filter element with an end surface at an inlet side and an end surface at an outlet side that are spaced from one another in a main flow direction of the filter insert. A frame circumferentially extends about lateral sides of the filter element. An axial seal is supported on the frame and has a sealing direction in or opposite to the main flow direction. When inserted into a filter housing and contacting a sealing surface of the filter housing, the seal separates seal-tightly the inlet and outlet. The frame has on two opposite lateral sides of the filter element contact surfaces for clamping the filter insert by matching clamping elements. The contact surfaces are oriented opposite to the sealing direction and each have an individual profile of varying height extending along the two opposite lateral sides.

Filter insert and filter device

A filter housing () having a raw-side inlet () and a clean-side outlet () for media to be filtered and a forward-mounted part designed as a cyclone pre-separator () including at least one fastening region () of a first part () made substantially of plastic is fastened to the raw side, and a second part () braced between the first part () and the filter housing (). The fastening region () of the first part () is screwed to the filter housing () using metal fastening elements (), and&#x2014;at the upper side facing away from the filter housing () it has at least one pressing contour () for compensating for at least one dimension tolerance of the elements fastened together. The contour is substantially plastic material, which can be deformed by means of applying a force generated by the screwing together of the metal fastening elements (), in particular which can be melted.

Filter device

The invention relates to a filter system (), particularly for an internal combustion engine, comprising a filter element () having a filter medium () that in particular is folded in a star shape, the filter medium having a coaxial form, and having at least one end and sealing body () that is made from an elastic potting compound and is disposed on a front of the filter medium (). At least part of a support body () is embedded in the elastic potting compound of the end and sealing body ().

Filter system

A filter element has of a filter medium () folded in a zig-zag manner and designed in a tubular shape. End plates () are arranged on the filter medium end faces. End plate () has a concentric opening as well as a first annular ring () and a second annular ring (), and a sealing groove () arranged between the rings. A reinforcement plate () is arranged at the end plate and has an annular surface () extending in axial direction across folds of the filter element.

Filter element and filter system

The invention relates to a filter element, consisting of a filter medium () that is pleated in a zigzag manner and has a concentric form, and an end disk () disposed on a front, and a second end disk () disposed on the opposite front, wherein the end disk () has a concentric opening () and extends substantially annularly across the pleats of the filter medium. The end disk () has a ring collar () extending radially toward the outside. The ring collar () has a seal () that surrounds the ring collar at least partially, wherein the seal has an axially extending region, which carries radially peripheral sealing lips (), and said radially peripherals sealing lips are supported in a groove () or in a housing wall () of a housing receiving the filter element.

The invention relates to a filter element consisting of a filter medium () that is pleated in a zigzag manner and has a concentric shape, and a first end disk () and a second end disk () disposed on an opposite front, wherein the end disk () has a concentric opening () and extends substantially annularly across the pleats of the filter medium. The end disk () has a ring collar () extending radially toward the outside. Said ring collar () has a seal () that surrounds the ring collar at least partially, wherein the seal has an axially extending region, which carries radially peripheral sealing lips (), and said radially peripheral sealing lips are supported in a groove () or in a housing wall () of a housing receiving the filter element.

The invention relates to a filter element consisting of a filter medium () which is folded in a zig-zag manner and designed in a concentric shape. End plates () are arranged on the end sides of the medium. End plate () has a concentric opening as well as a first annular ring () and a second annular ring (), and a sealing groove () arranged between the rings. A reinforcement plate () is arranged in the area between the filter medium and the rings (). The end surfaces () of the rings () are supported by the grooves () of a filter element housing, the grooves running radially.

A filter element (), particularly for the intake air of an internal combustion engine. The filter element () has a filter body () and a seal () disposed circumferentially around the filter body (). The seal () is bonded to the filter body () with an adhesive () and includes a hard component () and a soft component (). The hard component (), which rests directly on a housing section, prevents the filter element () from moving relative to this housing section, and since the filter element cannot move relative to the housing section, damage to the filter element is avoided.

Filter element and filter system for the intake air of an internal combustion engine

A filter element formed from at least one flat layer of permeable filter medium alternating with at least one pleated layer in such a way that the resulting channels have an open, especially triangular, cross section, a first group of channels being tightly sealed at one end and a second group of channels being tightly sealed at the other end such that a fluid to be filtered flowing through the filter element from an incident flow side formed by one end face to a discharge side formed by the opposite end face, must pass through one of the layers, and at least one group of channels is filled with adsorbent particles and closed by a gas-permeable fabric disposed over the corresponding end face of the filter element, the fabric pores being smaller than the adsorbent particles.
