Disclosed is a tube configured to conduct a fluid flowing through the tube in a specified flow direction and for this purpose comprises a tube wall, which encloses a lumen of the tube, and an interference body, which is arranged within the tube but is nevertheless connected to the tube wall at an inner face of the tube wall facing the lumen. In the tube according to the present disclosure, the tube wall has a maximum wall thickness of more than 1 mm and at least two mutually spaced sub-segments with a respective wall thickness that deviates from said maximum wall thickness, wherein the sub-segment is positioned upstream of the interference body in the flow direction, and the sub-segment is positioned downstream of the sub-segment in the flow direction.

The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a probe of a thermal flow meter for measuring the mass flow rate of a medium in a measuring tube, the method having the following steps: introducing a probe core in the form of a material to be melted into a first probe casing, the first probe casing having an open first end and a closed second end facing away from the first end; melting the probe core; quenching the probe core to a temperature below the solidification temperature; attaching a thermoelement to a contact surface of the solidified probe core. The invention also relates to a probe obtained according to the production method and to a flow meter including the probes according to the present disclosure.

The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a probe of a thermal, flow measuring device for measuring mass flow of a liquid in a measuring tube, wherein the method includes: introducing a probe core including a hard solder and a core element into a first probe sleeve, wherein the first probe sleeve has an open first end and a closed second end away from the first end; melting the hard solder; affixing the core element by cooling the hard solder to a temperature less than the solidification temperature; and applying a thermoelement to a contact area of the core element or of the solidified hard solder. The present disclosure relates, furthermore, to a probe resulting from the manufacturing process as well as to a flow measuring device having at least one probe of the-present disclosure.

A magneto-inductive flow measuring device comprising a measuring tube on which a magnet system and two or more measuring electrodes are arranged and/or secured. The measuring tube has in- and outlet regions with a first cross section and the measuring tube has between the in- and outlet regions a middle segment, which has a second cross section. The measuring electrodes are arranged in the middle segment of the measuring tube and the middle segment at least in the region of the measuring electrodes is surrounded by a tube holder, which guards against cross-sectional deformation of the second cross section.

Magneto-inductive flow measuring device

A thermal, flow measuring device for determining and/or monitoring the flow of a measured medium through a measuring tube. The thermal, flow measuring device includes: a first pin-shaped shell and at least a second pin-shaped shell; a first resistance thermometer and at least a second resistance thermometer. At least the first resistance thermometer is embodied so as to be heatable, wherein the resistance thermometers, in each case, have a first surface, and at least a second surface, which lies opposite the first surface. The first pin-shaped shell surrounds the first resistance thermometer, and the second pin-shaped shell surrounds the second resistance thermometer. The pin-shaped shells are fillable with a fill material. In each case, at least one spacer is placeable between the pin-shaped shell and the first surface of the resistance thermometer, and the second surface of the resistance thermometer is at least partially covered with fill material.

Temperature sensor and method for its manufacture

An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring mass flow of a fluid medium through a pipeline, or through a measuring tube. The apparatus includes two temperature sensors and a control/evaluation unit. The two temperature sensors are arranged in a region of a housing facing the medium and in thermal contact with the medium flowing through the pipeline, or through the measuring tube. A first of the temperature sensors is heatably embodied. A second of the temperature sensors provides information concerning the present temperature of the medium. The control/evaluation unit, on the basis of primary measured variables, such as temperature difference between the two temperature sensors and/or heating power fed to the first temperature sensor, ascertains the mass flow of the medium through the pipeline. The control/evaluation unit, in ascertaining the mass flow, provides a correction value for the mass flow and/or for the primary measured variable and/or for a measured value derived from the primary measured variable. And, the control/evaluation unit, in ascertaining the correction value, takes into consideration heat exchange by forced convection and heat exchange by free convection between the temperature sensors and the medium.

Thermal flow measuring apparatus including RTD sensor

A thermal, flow measuring device for determining and/or monitoring flow of a measured medium through a measuring tube. The thermal, flow measuring device includes: a first pin-shaped shell and at least a second pin-shaped shell; a first resistance thermometer and at least a second resistance thermometer. At least the first resistance thermometer is embodied so as to be heatable, wherein the resistance thermometers, in each case, have a first surface, and at least a second surface, which lies opposite the first surface. A method wherein vortices are produced in a flowing fluid by means of a bluff body and the repetition frequency with which the vortices are produced is determined. The repetition frequency is used to determine a flow rate measurement value, which represents a volume flow or a flow velocity. Additionally, pressures pand pacting in the flowing fluid at two measurement points separated from one another in the flow direction are registered. At least one of these pressures changes at least as a function of the repetition frequency. The registered pressures p, pare used to produce a pressure measurement value, which represents an average dynamic pressure acting in time average at least partly in the flow direction. The pressure measurement value and the flow rate measurement value are used to determine a mass flow rate value for the fluid.
