A distributed ledger-based system, method and apparatus for managing tasks. An authorization record proposal is validated by a localized blockchain authorization network against a validated schema published by, in some cases, a core blockchain network. Once validated, it is published on a localized channel for use by other nodes to validate actions of the task as the task is being performed. Data relating to completed tasks may be shared in accordance with sharing information in the validated authorization record and the data may be deleted upon the occurrence of a predetermined condition.

Distributed ledger-based system, method and apparatus for managing tasks

A system, apparatus and method for processing observational data for training a neural network model for use by a neural network. Observational data is parsed into raw data and metadata components and then stored separately on a raw data storage system and a metadata storage system, respectively. A digital fingerprint may be generated and assigned to the raw data and the metadata, used to verify the integrity of the data. When it is desired to train a neural network model, a DETL query is generated and used to identify any raw data that may be relevant to training the neural network model. The DETL query is processed by the metadata storage system to match any metadata to search terms in the DETL which, in turn, identifies raw data stored in the raw data storage system. The identified raw data is used to train the neural network model, and a updated neural network model is produced. Each time the neural network model is trained, the relevant raw data and metadata used for each training run is stored in association with the neural network model version so that a lineage of the training may be memorialized and used later to identify defects in the neural network model and/or to validate the integrity of the data used to train the neural network model.

A system, method and apparatus for routing traffic in ad-hoc networks. A routing blockchain network processes routing node information proposals received from manager nodes of network clusters. Performance metrics, including content integrity metrics, of one or more nodes in the system are validated using distributed ledger techniques and provided to the manager nodes as updates to each manager node's routing information. The manager nodes further determine routing paths for ad-hoc communication requests based on an authentication record that defines conditions necessary to route traffic streams in association with a particular resource or destination, one of the conditions comprising a minimum content integrity metric. Data may be transmitted in data segments, each data segment associated with a particular original fingerprint. The data segments and associated fingerprints are provided to routing nodes and, ultimately, to a destination node. One or more of the nodes in the routing path performs verification of the integrity of the data segments comparing locally-generated fingerprints to original fingerprints generated by a source node. Fingerprint information may be stored by a fingerprint blockchain network for accountability and tracking purposes.

Various stations on a vessel comprise user control devices to receive vessel control commands from a vessel operator in conjunction with associated transducer information capturing physical conditions or attributes of the operator at, or proximate to, one of the user control devices. A processor determines whether the vessel control command was deliberate, based on the physical condition or the attribute captured by the transducer. Upon determination of a valid user control input, the processor optionally performs transformation of the user vessel control command based on an operator identity and vessel environmental factors, and then sends a corresponding control command to one or more vessel physical control devices, such as a rudder or an engine.

Upon redemption of the DMC at a retail entity, the value is fixed and applied to a transaction. Details of the transaction are provided to a remote clearinghouse that performs mediation and indemnification functions to finalize the transaction. As described, the subject disclosure provides a DMC that facilitates a rich and flexible mechanism to generate purchasing incentive for consumers in a mobile environment.

Certain embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods for increasing a capacity in a peer-to-peer (P2P) wireless network. The methods include generating a connectivity metric (CM) value indicative of a number of other wireless nodes of the P2P wireless network to which the wireless node is connected, transmitting the CM value, and then transmitting full connectivity information maintained by the wireless node at a frequency determined based on the CM value. The disclosed methods therefore allow well-connected nodes of the P2P wireless network to be exploited in a manner that increases the overall connectivity of all the nodes in the network.

In one embodiment, media clips are created by a server in response to receiving a primary media recording of at least a portion of an event from a first content capture device, and activity identification information from a content tagging device, the activity identification information comprising a selection time when an activity indicator was selected by a user in response to an activity that occurred during the event. A processor executes machine-executable instructions stored in memory that causes the server to determine whether the first primary media recording is associated with the event, and create a first media clip from the first primary media recording when the first primary media recording is determined to be associated with the event.
