Air filter system includes a main housing, in which a primary filter cartridge can operably be installed, the housing includes a clean air outlet and a service opening through which the primary filter cartridge can be installed, a pre-separator assembly mounted onto and closing off the service opening, the pre-separator assembly having an inlet flow face receiving air to be cleaned from the outside, an outlet flow face through which pre-cleaned air exits, the outlet flow face positioned over the service opening of the main housing, such that pre-cleaned air is provided to the main housing, a dust discharge port, through which particles pre-separated by the pre-separator can be discharged, wherein the main housing comprises a connection port operable to sealingly connect to the dust discharge port on one side and sealingly connect a scavenge line on the other side, the connection port operable to connect the dust discharge port and a scavenge line.

A filter module for filtering a fluid is provided with a filter element that has a filter bellows of a filter medium. A fastening frame is connected to the filter element and has a frame wall enclosing circumferentially at least partially a rim of the filter element. A circumferentially extending first sealing element is arranged on an exterior side of the frame wall. The fastening frame has at least one locking element on an exterior side. A second sealing element seals the raw side and the clean side relative to each other, and can be guided into a sealing position upon locking at least one locking element in the installation position.

The invention relates to a filter element and filter system for filtering a fluid. The filter element () includes at least one, in particular flat filter bellows () made of a filter medium () having an intended raw side () and an intended clean side () situated opposite thereof. A flatly affixed sideband () is disposed at the front faces () surrounding the filter bellows (). A circumferential seal () is disposed at an outside of the sideband (). The sideband () has a flap () projecting over the clean side () of the filter bellows (), the flap () being arrangeable at the front faces () in a V-shaped back-folded manner over the seal ().

A modular filter system () for cleaning of gaseous fluid has at least one housing module () with at least one support () in which at least one filter element () is arranged and at least one duct for the gaseous fluid on the clean side of the at least one filter element (). At least one housing module () has at least one housing frame part () which comprises at least one support section (). The at least one support section () is suitable for realizing at least one support (). The at least one housing frame part () has at least one duct section (). The at least one duct section () is suitable for realizing at least one duct or duct part (). The at least one housing frame part () can be applied in the housing module () such, that its at least one support section () can form at least one support () and/or its at least one duct section () can form at least one duct.
