A device for absorption of electrical noise on lines contains a housing which is formed from two half-shells, which are connected to one another with the aid of a film hinge and, in the area of their opposite edges, have a locking device, which locks the two half-shells. A ferrite element is held in each half-shell. An aperture or a window is formed in the wall of one half-shell, through which the locking device can be seen, which locking device acts per se in a depression within the wall. Through this aperture it is possible to check and to inspect whether two elements which form the locking device are correctly seated.

For automatic attachment of electronic components onto circuit boards, it is proposed that the electronic component be provided with a holding element that comprises a gripping point for a suction gripper. The holding element is designed as a clip that can be connected to the electronic component. The connecting occurs preferably by a snap-on action, wherein a form fit or positive fit is achieved by the shape of the clip, which is made of plastic. Preferably, the clip comprises a rib on the inside thereof facing the electronic component, said rib extending over at least half the periphery and engaging in a gap in the surface of the electronic component. If the electronic component is a coil, the rib, which is directed inward, can run along a helical line.

Externally on each of the end faces there are two strips which between them form a slot, and these strips form fixing edges bounding the slot The strips are connected to the end-faces of the housing in such a way that they are able to turn away from one another, so that their fixing edges can be moved further away or nearer along the longitudinal direction of the cable. By this means the breadth of the slot can be adapted to the flexibility and/or the diameter of the cable.

A device for absorbing electrical noise on cables containing a housing comprising a pair of halfshells is disclosed. A grooved ferrite component resides within each halfshell. Flat tabs that come to rest between facing surfaces of the ferrite components when the housing is closed are formed onto the housing, thereby creating a ferrite component that has a defined air gap.

A device for absorbing the electric noise on a cable contains a casing formed from two halves, in each of whose halves can be fixed a ferrite element. The two ferrite elements enclose the cable with the casing closed. A locking device keeps the two casing halves interconnected. The locking device is entirely housed within the casing walls, so that the casing cannot be unintentionally opened.

The two casing half-shells are placed with the ferrite cores around a cable such that a cylindrical passage is formed. The casing half-shells include semicylindrical webs, which fit into grooves in the ferrite cores. The casing half-shells have a tongue on one of the half-shells and a ratchet member on another of the half-shells to provide an adjustable closure to accommodate variance in the dimensions of the ferrite cores.
