A lidar sensor system. The lidar sensor system includes a transmission unit having a laser source, a phase modulator for modulating a phase of the light of the laser source, and a transmission optic for emitting the modulated light; a reception unit having a reception optic for receiving light reflected from an object and having an evaluation unit for evaluating the light received by the reception optic; the transmission unit being embodied to emit several transmission sequences of the light; each transmission sequence having a first portion and a second portion; the first portion being an unmodulated constant-phase signal; the second portion being a signal phase-modulated by the phase modulator; and the evaluation unit being embodied to determine at least an absolute value of a Doppler frequency based on the first portion, and to determine a distance to the object based on the Doppler frequency and the second portion.

Lidar sensor system

A transmitting device for emitting light having at least one frequency, the transmitting device being designed to emit light in different angular ranges in such a way that the frequency of the light in the particular angular range is varied in a respective frequency range dependent on time, frequencies in different frequency ranges not overlapping for different angular ranges at different times.

Transmitting device for emitting light

A sensor device for determining a distance and/or speed of an object, including a transmitting unit for emitting light of at least one frequency onto the object, the transmitting unit being designed for emitting light in at least one angular range, the light in the angular range being time-dependent varied essentially simultaneously with frequencies in different frequency ranges, a receiving unit for receiving light reflected by the object, the receiving unit being designed for scanning the received light in the particular frequency range at least two points in time, and an evaluation unit, which is designed for determining the distance and/or the speed of the object on the basis of the emitted light and the points in time at which the received light was scanned.

Sensor device

An operating method for a LIDAR system. A laser device that includes an optical modulator optically coupled thereto for receiving and modulating the frequency of non-modulated light emitted by the laser device, using a frequency modulation function, and for outputting frequency-modulated light as primary light into a visual field, is used as a light source unit. Secondary light received from the visual field and non-modulated light of the laser device are optically superimposed to form superimposed detection light. The superimposed detection light is photoelectrically detected by generating and outputting a primary electrical detection signal that is representative of the detection light. For the evaluation, the primary electrical detection signal is electrically mixed with an electrical signal that is representative of the frequency modulation function of the optical modulator to form a first evaluation signal, and is assessed.

An optoelectronic sensor, including a transmitting unit for transmitting a plurality of optical signals in each case to a plurality of segments of an object, and a receiving unit that includes a first multichannel analog-digital converter device, including: an analog-digital converter unit; a plurality of signal processing channels, the signal processing channels of the plurality of signal processing channels in each case including: a detection antenna for receiving optical signals; and a modulator for generating an individual signal encoding. Signals of the plurality of signal processing channels, with individual signal encoding, are transmittable together to the analog-digital converter unit, are converted, and may be associated once again with the corresponding signal processing channels due to the individual signal encoding via algorithms.

Optoelectronic sensor, method and vehicle

A device for receiving light having at least one wavelength for the detection of an object, includes: an optical phased array including a plurality of optical phased sub-arrays, each optical phased sub-array including (a) a plurality of antennas and (b) a detector for coherently receiving light; and an evaluation unit connected to the optical phased sub-arrays and configured to determine the angle at which the object is detected.
