For measuring tensile and/or compressive loads force measuring systems are provided for measuring a tensile and/or compressive load of a structure have a first force measuring sensor assigned to the structure, and a second force measuring sensor assigned to the structure. To provide a force measuring system that enables high measuring accuracy, the first and the second force measuring sensor differ in such a way, that the first force measuring sensor is designed to measure a nominal load range, and the second force measuring sensor is designed to measure a sub-range of the nominal load range.

A force-sensing device for measuring a traction- and/or pressure force load in a structure, for example, in a container-locking bolt is provided. The force-sensing device is constructed shaped like a rod and a sensor section detects expansions and/or compressions of the structure.

A measuring device is described which has a metal body deformable in accordance with a value to be measured. A sensor element having a metal carrier and ohmic resistors formed thereon in metal thin-film technique is connected to the metal body by welding and generates a signal adapted to be electrically evaluated which corresponds to the deformation of the metal body. The weld for connecting the metal body and the sensor element completely encloses the metal carrier at its circumference. The metal body has, at the welded connection with the metal carrier, a material thickness t which is completely penetrated by the weld. The value to be measured by the measuring device comprises force, pressure, temperature, torque or combinations thereof.

A load cell for detecting the supporting force transmitted by a load-bearing support element is provided. The load cell forms a measuring portion of the support element, which deforms under the supporting force and transverse forces in a direction deviating from the supporting force to form part of the support element with the same. A plurality of thin-film resistors are arranged at the measuring portion, and exhibit a reaction proportional to strain and whose reactions proportional to transverse forces cancel each other.

Disclosed is an axial force transducer comprising a deformable element () which forms a measuring spring and is rotationally symmetrical to the force inducing axis as well as strain gauges () that are arranged in pairs in areas extending in opposite directions and are connected so as to form an electrical resistance bridge. The deformable element () is provided with a central location hole () which extends radially under the effect of an axial force and whose edge () is connected to a deformable disk () via an annular rib (), said deformable disk () being disposed at an axial distance from the location hole (). The edge () of the deformable disk () radially protrudes from the annular rib (). The strain gauges () are applied to the face of the deformable disk () in pairs, inside and outside the diameter of the annular rib ().
