A battery for a motor vehicle has a battery housing including at least one busbar and at least two battery cells arranged in the housing and held by a holder. The busbar electrically conductively connects connection points of at least two of the battery cells. In order to achieve an increased power, heat-conducting paths for cooling are provided by virtue of the busbar and/or the holder being thermally conductively connected to the battery housing by a thermal adhesive.

A battery device for a motor vehicle, having a first battery module with a first housing, a second battery module which is arranged next to the first battery module in a first direction (X) with a second housing, a coolant channel, and a battery module connector arranged in the coolant channel for electrically contacting the first and the second battery module. The first and the second housing have coolant inlet openings on respective opposite end sides in a second direction (Y) arranged orthogonally to the first direction (X). In each case one coolant outlet opening is arranged in the center of the first or second housing with respect to the second direction (Y) and leads into the coolant channel.

A heat exchanger may include a heat exchange surface partially coated with a heat-conducting layer. The heat exchange surface may include a plurality of contact regions coated with the heat-conducting layer and a plurality of insulating regions that are not coated with the heat-conducting layer. The heat exchange surface may further include a degree of coverage of the heat-conducting layer that varies to compensate at least one of at least one hot spot and at least one cold spot. The at least one hot spot and the at least one cold spot may be included within at least one of the heat exchange surface and a plurality of energy storage elements of an energy store that contacts the heat exchange surface.

A temperature control device for a battery may include a fluid duct being flowable at least one of through and around by a fluid. The fluid duct may be delimited by at least one duct wall composed of an electrically conductive material. An outer side of the duct wall facing away from the fluid may include at least one electrically insulating insulation layer disposed thereon via at least one of a screen printing process and a stencil printing process. The at least one insulation layer may be composed of a plastic material.

An arrangement may include an electrical component and a heat exchanger arranged on the electrical component for controlling a temperature of the component. An electrically insulating isolation layer may be arranged at least partially between the heat exchanger and the component. The isolation layer may be connected to at least one of the component and the heat exchanger via a materially cohesive connection.
