A diagonal fan includes an electric motor, a housing, and a diagonal impeller received inside the housing and drivable via the motor. The diagonal flow during operation is deflected in an axial flow direction. The diagonal impeller includes impeller blades distributed in the circumferential direction and a slinger ring encloses said blades. The diagonal fan includes an inlet nozzle on the suction side accommodating a main flow for the diagonal fan. The inlet nozzle extends overlapping at least in sections relative to the radial section of the slinger ring forming a nozzle gap therewith. A bypass channel on the housing forms a flow connection from a pressure-side surrounding region (U) of the diagonal fan to an inflow side of the nozzle gap. During operation of the diagonal fan, a swirl-free secondary flow (NS) is guided at the inflow side of the nozzle gap via the bypass channel.

A diagonal fan having an electric motor and a diagonal impeller which can be driven about an axis of rotation (RA) by means of the electric motor. The diagonal impeller determines an air inlet and an air outlet and has a hub and impeller vanes which are distributed in the circumferential direction, extend radially outwards from the hub and are surrounded radially externally by a slinger ring. A flow angle &#x3b1;D formed by the slinger ring relative to the axis of rotation (RA) increases from the air inlet to the air outlet, and a flow angle &#x3b1;N formed by the hub relative to the axis of rotation (RA) decreases from the air inlet to the air outlet.

A radial fan half-spiral housing has a pressure chamber extending in the circumferential direction about an axial intake opening () to a radial blow-out opening (). The pressure chamber, as viewed in the circumferential direction, is subdivided into at least one beginning portion (), one central portion (), and one blow-out portion. The intake opening () determines a central axis of rotation for a fan wheel. An averaged half-spiral housing radius, as viewed about the axis of rotation (), varies in the beginning portion (), the center portion (), and the blow-out portion (). It reaches a maximum in the blow-out portion (). The diagonal impeller has impeller blades, an air inlet and an air outlet, wherein the housing forms a flow channel for an airflow generated by the diagonal impeller, which has a non-rotationally symmetric axial section and a cylindrical axial section axially directly adjacent, as seen in the flow direction, wherein an air outlet-side radial outer end of the diagonal impeller is arranged in the cylindrical axial section of the flow channel of the housing and an air gap is provided between the radial outer end and the housing, and wherein the non-rotationally symmetric axial section of the flow channel is arranged in a region of the flow channel which is adjacent to the air-inlet side of the air gap in an axial plane with the diagonal impeller.

An axial fan for use with a wall ring plate includes a housing having an inlet region and a rotor. The rotor has an increased rotor diameter compared to a standardised rotor diameter. On the inlet side, the inlet region has a tapered section that narrows in an arched manner in a cross-sectional view from an inlet diameter to a wall ring diameter. The axial width and radial length of the tapered section are formed in a predetermined ratio.

The present disclosure relates to a current rectifier for being arranged on the suction area of a ventilator, with an axial initial flow side and an axial exit flow side, wherein the current rectifier comprises several crossing struts formed by at least one circumferential strut and by at least one radial strut, and a pressure measuring conduit is constructed at least in one of the struts and which comprises at least one opening facing the exit flow side, and wherein the pressure measuring conduit comprises a measuring opening for being connected to a measuring line for the connection to a pressure sensor or a pressure sensor is integrated in the pressure measuring conduit.

The disclosure relates to a flow-conducting grille for arranging on the suction side of a fan, with a grille web structure which comprises radial webs spaced apart in the circumferential direction and coaxial circumferential webs spaced apart in the radial direction, wherein the radial webs of at least one quadrant of the flow-conducting grille are curved in each case over their radial extension, viewed in the circumferential direction, towards a predetermined radial plane extending from a central axis of the flow conducting grille.
