A method for automatically aligning an industrial truck in a warehouse, the method comprising the steps of: confirming that a pick has been executed by an operator and issuing a pick signal indicative thereof; determining a pick position and a next pick position and issuing pick position signals indicative of each; determining a side orientation of the industrial truck relative to a shelf side of a shelf aisle of the warehouse by the warehouse administration system in response to at least one of the pick position signals; and issuing a control command signal to the industrial truck such that the side orientation is automatically assumed for at least one of the pick positions.

Method for automatically aligning an industrial truck in a warehouse, and system comprising an industrial truck and a warehouse

A system for controlling an industrial truck with a drive portion including a traction drive portion, a steering portion, and a load portion, comprises a portable transmitting unit configured to be positioned away from the industrial truck. The system further comprises at least three transmitting and receiving units positioned in a predetermined spatial arrangement with respect to one another on the drive portion. An evaluation unit is provided that is configured to determine a position of the portable transmitting and receiving unit relative to the industrial truck by measuring signal propagation times. The industrial truck further comprises a control unit configured to send a control command for traction drive and/or steering if the relative position of the portable transmitting and receiving unit is located within a predetermined spatial region relative to the industrial truck.

Industrial truck and method for controlling an industrial truck

A system for automatically linking a radio remote control to an industrial truck comprises at least three transmitting and receiving units disposed in a predetermined spatial arrangement relative to each other in the industrial truck. The at least three transmitting and receiving units are configured to transmit search signals and receive response signals. A radio remote control is configured to receive and process the search signals transmitted by the transmitting and receiving units and to transmit corresponding response signals. The system further comprises an evaluation unit that is configured to determine signal propagation times of the transmitted search signals and the received corresponding response signals and to determine a position of the radio remote control. A control unit configured to link the radio remote control with the industrial truck when the relative position of the radio remote control lies within a predetermined area.

A method and system for automatically aligning an industrial truck in a warehouse, comprising the steps of determining a relative position of an operator with respect to an industrial truck by a positioning unit of the industrial truck, aligning the industrial truck in first predetermined side orientation with respect to a first object located on the left side of the industrial truck in the drive direction of the industrial truck when the relative position of the operator lies on the left side of the industrial truck, and aligning the industrial truck in a second predetermined side orientation with respect to a second object located on the right side of the industrial truck in the drive direction of the industrial truck when the relative position of the operator lies on the right side of the industrial truck.

An industrial truck comprising a pair of wheel arms, which at their free end in each case comprise a wheel arm end, each of which comprising a bearing body and a pair of load wheels, the load wheels in each case being rotatably mounted on a rocker, and the rocker being pivotably mounted on the bearing body in a region located between the load wheels, the bearing body comprising a bearing projection on which the rocker is mounted such that the rocker laterally defines the wheel arm end.
