An electric fluid pump may include a wet section having a pump wheel and a permanently excited rotor of an electric motor arranged therein. The electric fluid pump may include a dry section having a stator of the electric motor arranged therein. A containment shell may be included configured to separate the wet section from the dry section. The dry section may include control electronics for controlling the fluid pump. The control electronics may connect in a heat-transferring manner to the containment shell and the wet section via the containment shell.

Electric fluid pump

A camshaft has at least two completely machined individual cams fixedly mounted on a shaft in predetermined angular positions. The shaft includes an outside shaft and an inside shaft arranged concentrically in the former, and is to be manufactured in such a way that remachining of the joined camshaft is not necessary. This is by combining the individual cams even before they are mounted on a shaft and joining them to this shaft to form a machining module, such that the individual cams are combined in their mutual arrangement in relation to one another in which the cams are to be mounted on the finished camshaft. The final machining of the cams is performed within this machining nodule. When the cams are completely machined in this way, the cams are joined to the shaft of the camshaft within the machining module. This ensures that the desired mutual arrangement is maintained, i.e., that remachining is not necessary.

Method for manufacturing a camshaft

The present invention relates to a method for grinding of cam profiles on a camshaft (), having an inner shaft () and an outer shaft () arranged coaxially one inside the other and mounted to rotate with respect to one another. The camshaft () additionally has first and second cams () that can rotate with respect to one another over a limited circumferential angle about the camshaft axis (), the first cams () of which are fixedly connected to the inner shaft () and the second cams () of which are fixedly connected to the outer shaft (). It is essential to this invention that during and/or after the grinding operation a fluid is forced under pressure into the outer shaft (), thereby preventing penetration of grinding dust into the interspace () between the first cams () and the outer shaft () or flushing out any grinding dust that has already penetrated.

Method for grinding of cam profiles

A camshaft for activation of the gas exchange valves of an internal combustion engine has two coaxially mounted shafts rotatable inside and with respect to one another, first cams fixedly attached to the first shaft and second cams fixedly attached to the second shaft, a main camshaft drive acting on both shafts, and a device for adjusting the angle of rotation of the first and second shafts with respect to one another by a first actuating drive and adjusting the angle of rotation of both shafts jointly by a second actuating drive. The adjusting device has a rapid response and allows large adjustment angles with a simple structural design.

Camshaft

The aim of the invention is to functionally improve a hydraulic play compensation element for a valve gear of an internal combustion engine. To this end, the play compensation element is characterized by the following features. Both components ( ) enclose a pressure chamber ( ) between them, which is sealed from the exterior and which has a volume that depends on the relative position of both components ( ). A pressure spring ( ) that presses both components ( ) away from one another is mounted inside the pressure chamber ( ). The pressure chamber ( ) can be connected to the storage chamber ( ) via a spring-loaded one-way valve ( ) through which media can flow exclusively into the pressure space. An additional controllable stop valve ( ) is provided in the connection of the pressure chamber ( ) to the storage chamber ( ). A throttling channel ( ), which serves as a bypass to the one-way valve ( ), is provided between the pressure chamber ( ) and the controllable stop valve ( ). The throttling channel ( ) is connected to a reversibly size-changing buffer chamber ( ).
