Aircraft seat

An aircraft passenger seat with seat components, such as a seating piece and a backrest () includes a back support structure () supporting a backrest cushion (). On the back face of the support structure a food table may be folded against the same and extended into an in-use position. A pocket-like container (), for housing useful objects, such as printed products () and traveling utensilsis arranged on the support structure. The container () is formed by a cavity, extending in the support structure () of the backrest (), at least partly between the folded food table () and the backrest cushion ().

Aircraft passenger seat

A seat, especially an airplane or vehicle seat, has a seat part placed on the stand-type seat structure () in relation to a base and provided with a bearing part () on its front side. The bearing part () is embodied in a flexible manner and can move in the direction of the seat structure () when a predefined seating load is exerted on it. When the load is discharged, it can move back into its initial position in the opposite direction from the seat structure (). This arrangement creates a seat whose front part is maintained in a flexible manner such that the front area of the seat part yields according to the seating load exerted by the seat user. The pressure forces are limited to the lower side of the upper thighs of the seat user. As a result, the cross-sections of the veins in that region are not reduced, but are maintained such that the circulation of the blood is not impeded, significantly reducing the risk of thrombosis.

Seat, especially an airplane or vehicle seat

The invention to a seat, in particular an aircraft passenger seat, comprising seat components such as a seat () and a backrest (), in addition to at least one cover part (), which is pre-tensioned in at least one direction and at least one section and which extends between frame parts () of an allocated seat component. As the seat is provided with at least one controllable adjusting unit (), which permits the specification of different pre-tensions for the respective cover part () within a predefinable range and in a reversible manner, the respective seat user, who occupies the seat can adapt the seat to his or her comfort and health requirements.

A seat, particularly an air passenger seat, includes a seat part and a backrest. The backrest has a backrest element () with an arched, one-piece frame part () having at least one hollow profile (). In order for the frame part () to have, at least in part, at least one additional hollow profile () and for the adjoining hollow profiles () to be situated one behind the other in the normal direction of movement (flying direction ()) of the seat, the backrest element is reinforced in the relevant areas in such a manner that, even in the event of a crash, the base frame structure remains intact.

Seat, particularly an air passenger seat

A comfort system for a seat, in particular for vehicle and aircraft passenger seats mounted one behind the other in a row, has at least one support component () movable from a non-use position to a use position. Foot and leg components () of a seat occupant rest on at least one support surface. The support component () is held in the use position by a fastening mechanism () and extends at least in part into a foot space which may be used by the occupant of the rear seat of two seats mounted in a row. The support component () clears the foot space when the component is in the non-use position and is essentially flexible. When in the use position, the fastening mechanism () at least in part follows a curved path, and is mounted on the front seat of two seats mounted in a row.
