An aircraft seat assembly for aircraft passengers having restricted mobility comprises a seat base assembly that comprises a first carrier device and a first fastening means. The aircraft seat assembly further comprises a wheelchair sub-frame, a second carrier device and a second fastening means. The dimensions of the wheelchair sub-frame are adapted to the dimensions of aisles provided in the aircraft cabin. Finally, the aircraft seat assembly comprises a seat which comprises a fastening means that is complementary to the first fastening means of the seat base assembly and to the second fastening means of the wheelchair sub-frame.

Aircraft seat assembly for aircraft passengers having restricted mobility

The individual room units presently used in aircraft, e.g. crew rest rooms, are usually fixed installations so that quick on-demand changeover of passenger seats to such a room unit may only be feasible with an extended change-over period in the repair hangar. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a modular wall construction system for aircraft cabins is provided, which comprises individually prefabricated wall construction panels () adapted for a quick installation with connecting elements without additional tools. This may result in the formation of at least one room of a room unit () of individual size and geometry.

A device for the transport and medical care of patients as well as for the provision of emergency medical care in an aircraft, which can be arranged and permanently installed inside the passenger cabin of an aircraft, and has a stretcher and medical care equipment, and screens the patient from the environment at least partially by means of lateral elements. The device is enveloped on all sides by lateral elements, and forms a separated compartment relative to the passenger cabin, the volume of which can be temporarily enlarged by shifting at least one lateral section between the first, emergency medical care mode, and a second, expanded mode for patient transport, wherein the stretcher can be horizontally arranged within the compartment in the first mode, and space is available for a medical assistant inside the compartment.

A modular galley for an aircraft comprises several vertical and horizontal structural elements, and usage areas provided therebetween for accommodating slide-in devices, built-in devices or items of equipment. The galley comprises first structural elements that form an essentially unchangeable basic element which comprises connection elements for the mechanical connection of second structural elements, add-on devices, built-in devices, items of equipment and/or slide-in devices that are variable, and comprises interfaces for the supply to items of equipment that are provided in the galley wherein the connection elements and interfaces are standardized such that various structural elements, add-on devices, built-in devices, items of equipment and/or slide-in devices can be interchanged or can be affixed at various locations.

Modular galley, in particular for an aircraft

The field relates to a compartment of an aircraft. The compartment is delimited by a section of the outer wall of the cabin, as well as by two identical foldable partition segments that delimit the compartment from adjacent compartments. So that a compartment passenger's compliance with the requirement to fasten the seat belt may nonetheless be verified during the flight, the partition segments are arranged such that between them access openings to the compartment are created.

Passenger compartment

A passenger compartment with first through fourth placement spaces that include first through fourth accommodation units, where the accommodation units are of a modular design. The first and second accommodation units are a first seat and a second seat which can both be changed between a sitting position and an essentially horizontal resting position. The first and second placement spaces are arranged in one placement plane facing each other. The third placement space is arranged beside the first placement space and the fourth placement space is arranged beside the second placement space. The arrangement includes a delimiting element arranged laterally beside the first and second placement spaces and extending to be perpendicular in relation to the placement plane. First and second couchette elements are affixable to the delimiting element such that passengers can be accommodated who are in positions lying down above the first and second placement spaces.

Arrangement for accommodating passengers; vehicle for transporting passengers

Nowadays on commercial aircrafts, meals and beverages are usually served by the on-board personnel on trays that are transported to the respective row of seats with the aid of trolleys. The present application describes a vending machine that comprises a magazine and a selector. The magazine is adapted for accommodating or storing a plurality of products. The dispensing of a product can be triggered by actuating the selector. Such a vending machine allows each passenger to choose the respective meal or beverage, as well as the time of its consumption. In addition, the vending machine according to the invention may simplify the on-board work such that the personnel costs can be reduced.

A modular communication fixture is installed in a passenger aircraft adjacent to an entrance and exit area adjoining a passenger boarding door. The fixture includes a housing, at least one access door that is selectively movable to an open position and a closed position relative to the housing, an information and communication terminal arrangement that is installed at least partly in the housing and that includes a control section, and a seat that is adapted to support a person seated thereon and that is arranged movable into and out of the housing. In the open position, the at least one access door permits access to the control section and the seat, and extends into the entrance and exit area. In the closed position, the at least one access door prohibits access to the control section and the seat, and does not obstruct the entrance and exit area.

Modular communication fixture for installation on board of a passenger conveyance

A modular communication fixture is constructed for installation in a passenger conveyance particularly a passenger aircraft cabin. The fixture includes first components for the use and/or benefit of passengers and second components for the use by on board personnel only. The fixture has a housing and a door with an opening. The first components are so arranged in the housing that the first components are available for use by passengers through the opening in the door when the door is closed. The second components are so arranged that personnel can use the respective components when the door is open. When the door is open the fixture provides a work station for a personnel member.
