A distributed system for administration and storage of data includes a data manager to access a local data store. Several data managers can be chained to form a layered hierarchical structure. All data layers are merged top down to form the resultant data records. Fields can be modified or added in each layer. The system is self organizing in that each data layer only knows about its superordinate data layer. The system provides scalable persistent data storage with centralized data management and the option to locally extend and modify data.

A wrapper can receive a request for application data. The wrapper wraps a first reference to an cross-session object and a second reference to a wrapper mapper object. Thereafter, the cross-section object can be accessed using the first reference and the wrapper mapper object is polled using the second reference to access a session-local object. On-demand wrappers of application data

The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for providing context-aware request dispatching in a clustered environment. One process includes operations for receiving an event at a first computer node. The contents of the event are analyzed to determine a target process instance for handling the event. A target computer node hosting the target process instance is determined, and the event is sent to the target computer node for handling by the target process instance.

Context-aware request dispatching in clustered environments

A method is provided for providing one or more services by a service provider to a service consumer. The method may include defining a meta-model describing at least one core service and at least one compound service; creating a model for the core service based on the meta-model; and implementing the core service on the service provider based on the model. The method may also include implementing the compound service on the service provider and implementing a generic access interface on the service consumer to dynamically access the core service and the compound service.

A start index and a length are obtained for a subset of a text sequence buffered within a parser. A string pool containing a plurality of pooled string objects is polled to determine whether any of the pooled string objects contain the subset of the text sequence buffered within the parser by using the start index and the length. The present invention provides computer-implemented methods and systems for providing a transformation directive in a data type definition statement. The transformation directive specifies one or more transformations to be applied to data before it is stored in a variable of the data type being defined. The runtime framework interprets the transformation directive and applies the transformation to data which is assigned to a variable of the data type that was defined; and stores the transformed value to the variable.
