The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a medical X-ray device. The method includes: acquiring at least one X-ray image of a region of examination of an object undergoing examination by the medical X-ray device, wherein a medical object is arranged in the region of examination; generating an object image based on the at least one X-ray image; and establishing a determinability parameter, for assessing the determinability of the medical object based on the object image. The method is carried out iteratively, beginning with the acquiring of an X-ray image, until a termination condition occurs based on the most recently established determinability parameter. The disclosure furthermore relates to a computer-implemented method for providing a trained function, a computer-implemented method for providing a further trained function, a medical X-ray device, a training unit, a computer program product, and a computer-readable storage medium.

Controlling a medical X-ray device

Operating a medical image recording device in the context of an image recording routine for a patient is provided. The image recording routine serves an image recording purpose. The image recording device is controlled based on operating parameters implemented by a controller of the image recording device. The operating parameters are identified completely automatically by an identification algorithm from input data describing at least the patient in the form of a patient model and/or the image recording purpose, and from a registration of the patient with a coordinates system of the image recording device. The operating parameters are used to control the image recording device. An examination region that is to be recorded for the patient and the image recording purpose are derived based on the registration.

Operating a medical image recording device

A method is provided for operating a medical imaging X-ray device. The method records an earlier individual image of a series of images of a patient using a recording facility. The location of a medical component is identified, and the medical component is localized in the earlier individual image using a computing facility. A subregion of the earlier individual image is specified, determined by the position of the medical component localized in the earlier individual image and with the localized medical component represented. A later individual image is recorded and the medical component is localized in the later individual image. The later individual image is displayed, the later individual image averaged exclusively region-specifically in the region of the medical component with the subregion of the earlier individual image. Method acts are repeated with the displayed individual image as the earlier individual image to enhance visibility of the medical component.

Method for operating an X-ray device with enhanced depiction of a medical component

A method and apparatus for determining an x-ray image data record of a target location subjected to a movement using an x-ray device. A number of basic images of the target location are recorded using a basic exposure time in each case and the x-ray image data record corresponding to an x-ray image with a longer exposure time is determined by combining basic images registered with one another. At least one quality value assigned hereto and relating to the movement in the target location during the recording is determined for each basic image and the contribution of a basic image to the x-ray image data record is determined as a function of the quality value.

Determination of an X-ray image data record of a moving target location

To improve the quality of x-ray images, IN a method to process an x-ray image, a mathematical correction of the x-ray image is implemented, wherein the correction at least partially removes from the x-ray image the locally dependent blurring caused by a projection direction-dependent, effective optical focus size of an x-ray tube used to acquire the x-ray image.
