A method of manufacturing a battery, in particular a button battery, including a case, provided with a container and a cap, and a polymer gasket, in particular made of polypropylene, compressed and bonded between the container and the cap. The method successively includes a step of implanting a silicatised layer by tribochemical sand blasting on all or part of the surface of the gasket, a step of adding a layer of adhesive to the surface of the gasket including the silicatised layer and/or on all or part of the surface of the container and of the surface of the cap intended to be joined to the gasket, a step of assembling the case with the gasket positioned by compression and bonding with the layer of adhesive between the container and the cap.

Battery, in particular a button battery, and method of manufacturing same

A decorative item including an element made at least partly of a metallic, polymeric or ceramic based material and including a face visible to an observer, at least one light source external or internal to the element, the decorative item further includes at least one optical fibre embedded in the material of the element, the optical fibre serving as a guide for the light from the light source in order to produce, during use, a light effect on the visible face of the element. A method for manufacturing the decorative item is also disclosed.

A watch including a watch case provided with a case middle, the case middle carrying an element provided with at least one index and defining an inner cavity. The watch further includes at least one pair of electrodes and at least one light source device connected to the electrode pair and arranged opposite the index, the electrodes of the electrode pair being fixed inside the inner cavity, the element being water permeable such that, when the watch is immersed in seawater, the seawater can penetrate the inner cavity so that the electrode pair and the seawater form an electrochemical cell, for powering the light source device.

The invention relates to a battery comprising at least a cathode current collector, a cathode, a separator, an electrolyte, an anode and an anode current collector, the cathode being disposed between the cathode current collector and the separator, and the anode being disposed between the separator and the anode current collector, the battery further comprising a sealing gasket disposed on the periphery of the cathode, of the anode and of the separator and connecting the inner peripheral edge of the cathode current collector to the inner peripheral edge of the anode current collector. Said sealing gasket is at least partly made of a viscoelastic elastomeric material.

The invention relates to a cathode for a metal/air battery comprising at least one active layer produced in an active material and having an air side and a metal side, a current collector and a hydrophobic membrane produced in a hydrophobic material and deposited on the air side of the active layer. Said hydrophobic material has a porous structure and has penetrated into the air side of the active layer so as to form, between the hydrophobic membrane and the active layer, an interpenetration zone of hydrophobic material in the active material, in which there is a concentration gradient of hydrophobic material which decreases in the ingoing direction of air into the cathode.
