A lighting device includes at least one first light-emitting element configured to emit a first light of a first wavelength range; and a light guide having axially opposite first and second base surfaces, and a plurality of segments, each with a first light in-coupling surface formed on a lateral surface of the light guide, each of the segments configured to convert at least a part of input light into second light having a selected wavelength range. At least a portion of the first base surface includes a second light in-coupling surface and at least a portion of the second base surface includes a light out-coupling surface. The lighting device is optically coupled to the second light in-coupling surface such that the first light is coupled into the light guide, and the first light emitting element is configured to reflect at least part of the second light thereon having a wavelength within at least one of the selected wavelength ranges back into the light guide.

A lighting strip () is disclosed comprising a carrier () carrying, on at least one of its major surfaces (), a plurality of solid state lighting elements () distributed along an elongation direction of said carrier; a first optical arrangement () along said elongation direction for creating a first redistribution of a first portion of the luminous output of said solid state lighting elements; and a second optical arrangement () along said elongation direction for creating a second redistribution of a second portion of the luminous output of said solid state lighting elements, wherein the first redistribution is different to the second redistribution. A surface illumination kit including a plurality of such lighting strips is also disclosed.

Lighting strip and kit

A lighting module () is disclosed, comprising an elongated member () having an inner surface () at least in part delimiting a light-guiding region () within the elongated member, wherein the elongated member has a first end () a second end () and is configured to permit passage of fluid through the light-guiding region () and into and out of the first end and the second end, respectively. Light can be out-coupled from the light-guiding region () via at least one of the first end () and the second end (). The elongated member () includes a carrier which is at least in part flexible and has a first side () and a second side () opposite to the first side (). At least one light-emitting element () is coupled to the first side () of the carrier on a first portion () of the carrier. The carrier is arranged such that the second side () of the first portion () of the carrier at least partially faces the second side () of a second portion () of the carrier, such that the first side () of the first portion () of the carrier at least in part constitutes the inner surface () of the elongated member (). By way of such arrangement of the carrier, the at least one light-emitting element () can be arranged within the elongated member (), and may hence emit light into the light-guiding region (). A lighting device () comprising the lighting module () is also disclosed.
