A method for thermo-mechanical cracking and hydrogenation of chemical substances such as hydrocarbons in liquid or solid form, waxes, carbonates, lime, oil-shale, oil-sand, oily residue from refineries and crude tank bottoms, plast and the like. The cracking and the hydrogenating of the substances in the presence of hydrogen releasing chemicals as water is performed in a mechanical established fluidized bed (8) of fine grained solids where the mechanical action in the fluidized bed (8) generates the heat participating in the cracking in addition to the mechanical action to the substances whereby the cracking in the cavitating micro bubbles and the hydrogenation takes place in the reactor (1) with an overall temperature and pressure lower than by conventional cracking and/or hydrogenation processes.

Process and apparatus for drying organic or inorganic materials

A process and apparatus are provided to enhance the recovery of petroleum from onshore and offshore reservoirs. The process includes the simultaneous stimulation of the formation by elastic sound waves, created by a sonic source installed at the oil well so that the elastic sonic waves which are superimposed reduce the adherence forces in the layer between oil/water and the rock formation, and by the oscillating electrical stimulation of the same layer, as from the same wells subject to sonic treatment. The electricity heats the formation by using resistive heating, and thus increases the pressure, thus eliminating the surface tensions between the faces of the fluid as a consequence of the oscillatory action of the ions in the surfaces of the fluid and in addition, reducing the viscosity of the fluids. The process is achieved as the petroleum is produced in the wells thus treated, and the flow of petroleum acts then as a cooling agent which removes the heat released by the well area and thus allows a larger input of energy than in any other method known so far.

A ski having a so-called waxless plastic sole wherein a pattern in the form of a plurality of rearwardly-directed curbs is provided in the running surface of the sole. The pattern consists of a plurality of arc-shaped, wedge-formed cuts wherein the center of the arcs lies to one side of the longitudinal central plane of the ski, and a plurality of arc-shaped, wedge-formed cuts which intersect said first cuts. The center of the latter arcs are lying on the other side of the central longitudinal plane of the ski.
