The fluid dispensing system () comprises at least one fluid source (), at least one pump (----N), at least one telescopic fluid dispenser (′-′-′-′-M′); a control unit () to operate the pump (----N) for supplying fluid () according to a received command of washing at least one target object (----O), a manifold (), and at least one control valve assembly (V-, V-, . . . , V′-P′) comprising a fluid inlet for receiving fluid from the at least one fluid source (), a first fluid outlet for discharging fluid into the at least one telescopic fluid dispenser (′-′-′-′-M′), and a second fluid outlet for allowing fluid to flow back away from the telescopic fluid dispensers (′-′-′-′-M′) when retracting from the extended position to the rest position.

Fluid dispensing system

The apparatus for cleaning a surface comprises a housing for accommodating an object whose surface is to be cleaned, a wiper driving actuator adjacent the surface to be cleaned, the wiper driving actuator comprising an at least partially closed loop adapted to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the housing, and at least one wiper assembly operable by the wiper driving actuator to move along the at least partially closed loop and having a first end that is attached to the wiper driving actuator, the wiper assembly being movably mounted in the housing such that, in use, a constant distance is kept between the wiper assembly and the surface to be cleaned.

Apparatus for cleaning a surface

The electromagnetically operated valve includes a valve body, a plunger member, electromagnetic driving means for driving the plunger member along a flow direction inside the valve body into at least an open position in which a fluid is allowed to flow through the valve body and into a closed position in which the fluid is not, wherein the plunger member is arranged to be forced by a pressure of flowing fluid into the closed position, and to be driven by the electromagnetic driving means into the open position.

The telescopic washing device comprises first and second telescopic members operable along a first linear path between retracted extended positions parallel to telescopic member longitudinal axis Z; a wiper element coupled to the second telescopic member such that the wiper element is movable according to a second path lying on a plane XY perpendicular to the longitudinal axis Z; a second guiding area associated with first telescopic member or wiper element and according to second path; and a guiding element associated with the other of the first telescopic member or the wiper element to slide to the second guiding area as the first and second telescopic members move to each other. As pressurized fluid is supplied to the first telescopic member, the wiper element is at least rotated according to the second path.

Telescopic washing device

An aspect of the invention refers to a system for cleaning an external vehicle-mounted sensor surface. The system comprises an air nozzle arranged to discharge air onto a sensor surface; an air pump comprising a fluid inlet, an air outlet, an air-fluid interface and a variable volume compression chamber communicated with the air outlet; an air flow control device communicated with the air nozzle and the air outlet for controlling the flow of air therethrough; and a liquid pump communicated with the fluid inlet to supply a flow of pressurized liquid such that the volume of the compression chamber varies to generate a volume of pressurized air with an absolute pressure below 10 bar.

System and method for cleaning a vehicle-mounted sensor

A fluid-ejection device includes a first member having a fluid inlet; a second member that can be moved relative to the first member; and a control member arranged to be at least in a first condition, in which the control member is at least substantially inside the second member during a first stroke of the second member in which fluid flow through the second member and discharge is prevented; and a second condition, in which the control member is at least substantially outside the second member during a second stroke of the second member, allowing fluid flow through the second member and discharge. A seal member has a first surface engaged with the first member, a second surface engaged with the second member, and a third surface arranged to be engaged with the control member in the first condition.

Fluid ejection device
