A measuring device for determining the dielectric value of a medium has at least the following components: a measuring sensor with at least one first electrically conductive electrode and a high-frequency unit which is designed to couple a high-frequency signal at least into the first electrode and determine the dielectric value of the medium using a corresponding reflection signal. The measuring device is characterized in that the first electrode is wound on a measuring rod which can be brought into contact with the medium. By winding the electrode, the measuring sensor can be advantageously configured to be significantly shorter without limiting the sensitivity of the measuring device. In this manner, the measuring device can also be used in the event of constricted installation conditions.

Measuring device for determining a dielectric value

A pressure sensor comprises a deformable measuring diaphragm, and a mating body connected in a pressure-tight manner and forms a measuring chamber in which a reference pressure is present. A pressure can be applied to an outside of the measuring diaphragm. The pressure sensor has a capacitive transducer having at least one mating body electrode and at least one diaphragm electrode. Above a pressure limit value for the pressure, at least one central surface section of the measuring diaphragm rests against the mating body with a contact surface area, the size of which is dependent on the pressure. The pressure sensor also has a resistive transducer for converting a pressure-dependent deformation of the measuring diaphragm, when pressed in a range of values above the pressure limit value, into an electrical signal using an electrical resistance which is dependent on the contact surface area of the measuring diaphragm on the mating body.

Multilevel pressure sensor

A pressure transducer comprising a resistive pressure sensor element with a measurement membrane which has at least four resistor elements. The resistor elements are arranged in a full-bridge circuit, having a longitudinal direction in which the full bridge circuit is to be supplied with a constant current. When being supplied with the constant current, a longitudinal voltage has a first pressure dependency and a first temperature dependency, and a diagonal voltage has a second pressure dependency and a second temperature dependency, the second pressure dependency being greater than the first pressure dependency at a given temperature. The pressure transducer has a processing circuit which is designed to determine a measured pressure value at least using the diagonal voltage and optionally the longitudinal voltage. The processing circuit is further designed to check whether a value pair of a longitudinal voltage and a diagonal voltage corresponds to an expected functional relationship at a current temperature.

Pressure transducer

A gauge pressure sensor for determining the pressure of a medium by means of a housing and by means of a measuring element, which is positioned in the housing, wherein an outwards facing side of the measuring element is in contact with the medium and is exposed to the pressure, which is to be measured. A tube for a reference pressure is provided, which conducts ambient air to the measuring element, and by means of at least one dehumidifying chamber, positioned in the housing, for the collection of air moisture. The dehumidifying chamber contains a moisture adsorbing material or is primarily composed of a moisture adsorbing material, in that the moisture adsorbing material is at least, in sections, enclosed by a wall, which is composed of a first moisture permeable material, or is at least, in sections, free from a wall, and in that the reference pressure supply tube is at least, in sections, fabricated from a first or second moisture permeable material or in that the reference pressure supply tube has an aperture.

Gauge pressure sensor

A pressure sensor, comprising: a semiconductor pressure measuring transducer having a measuring membrane and a circuit for transducing a deformation of the measuring membrane into a signal; a pressure transfer structure having a hydraulic path, which extends through a solid body between a first a second opening. The first opening is sealed by an isolating diaphragm, which is contactable with a pressure, in order to introduce the pressure to be measured into the hydraulic path. The hydraulic path opens, at the second opening, into a transducer chamber, in which the pressure measuring transducer is arranged and which is sealed by the measuring membrane of the pressure measuring transducer. The hydraulic path contains a transfer liquid; a filling element, which is arranged in the transducer chamber, in order to fill hollow spaces between metal walls of the transducer chamber and the semiconductor pressure measuring transducer. An insulator plate, which is arranged in the transducer chamber between the measuring membrane and a wall of the transducer chamber lying opposite the measuring membrane; wherein the insulator plate is affixed to the filling element or is embodied as one piece with the filling element.

Pressure sensor with semiconductor pressure measuring transducer

A pressure gauge, or transducer, for high-temperature applications, comprising a sensor module with a sensor body having a measuring cell chamber containing a pressure measuring cell. The pressure measuring cell can be subjected to the action of a pressure via a first hydraulic path filled with a transmission liquid. The pressure gauge also comprises a transmission module for transmitting a pressure to the first hydraulic path. The transmission module has a second hydraulic path, which is filled with a transmission liquid and extends from a process diaphragm, through a transmission body and to a transmission diaphragm. The transmission diaphragm is attached to the transmission body in a pressure-tight manner, and the sensor body is joined to the transmission body in a pressure-tight manner, whereby the transmission diaphragm communicates with the first hydraulic path so that the pressure of the second hydraulic path can be transmitted via the transmission diaphragm to the first hydraulic path.

A pressure sensor for measuring a pressure difference between a pressure being measured and the ambient atmospheric pressure surrounding the pressure sensor, including a platform and a membrane loadable with a pressure being measured. The membrane is secured at its edge to the platform, with a pressure chamber thus being formed between the platform and the measuring membrane. The pressure chamber communicates over a reference air path with the atmosphere, with the reference air path being a winding path.

Relative pressure sensor

A pressure transmitter for transfer of a pressure prevailing in a first medium onto a second medium, including a pressure chamberin a platform, which chamber is separated from the first medium by means of a dividing membrane, wherein the pressure can be transferred by means of the second medium to a pressure measurement cell. For timely recognition of an impending failure of the dividing membrane, an early warning detector is provided with a sensor chamberhaving an opening, which faces the first medium; and a sensor, which monitors a property of a medium container in the sensor chamber; and a barrier facing the first medium, pressure-tightly sealing the opening, and which, under contact with the first medium and equal conditions as experienced by the dividing membrane, fails earlier than the dividing membrane, thus making possible a flow connection between the sensor chamberand the first medium. Preferably, the barrier is in the form of a sacrificial membrane, which is thinner than the dividing membrane. In this way, it is to be expected that, under corrosive destruction of the membranes, the sacrificial membranewill be destroyed earlier than the dividing membrane

A pressure mediator includes a base body; a divider diaphragm system having a first divider diaphragm and a second divider diaphragm, between which an intermediate chamber is enclosed in pressuretight fashion, in which the first surface of the first divider diaphragm, remote from the intermediate chamber, can be acted upon by the pressure prevailing in the first medium, and the first surface of the second divider diaphragm, remote from the intermediate chamber, is oriented toward the base body and is secured by its peripheral region to the base body, forming a pressure chamber between the base body and the second divider diaphragm, and the pressure chamber can be filled with the second medium and has a pressure chamber opening, through which the pressure can be transmitted by means of the second medium, and an exertion of pressure of the first divider diaphragm can also be transmitted to the second divider diaphragm via the intermediate volume; and having a sensor, for monitoring a property of the intermediate chamber, characterized in that the pressure mediator furthermore has a diaphragm module, which includes a pressure chamber, to which the first divider diaphragm is secured by its peripheral region, and the diaphragm module is secured to the base body by means of the module body.
