The present invention relates to a hair treatment appliance () having a handle (), a functional head () which can be connected to the handle () and has a hair treatment device (), and also an ion application device () for applying ions to the hair, said ion application device having at least one ion outlet (), wherein the functional head () and the handle () also in each case have an electrically conductive area on an outer face of the component and the electrically conductive area of the functional head () and the electrically conductive area of the handle () are electrically conductively connected to one another.

The present invention concerns: A heating element comprising a heating unit, a heat transfer unit and a temperature sensor unit, the heating, unit comprising a first composition, the first composition comprising an epoxy-based or glass-based composition or a composition comprising a sol-gel solution in which up to about 90% of said solution is a conductive powder in a uniform stable dispersion and said solution conductive powder is a member selected from the group consisting of metals, ceramics, interceramics and semi-conductors and the temperature sensor comprising a second composition, the second composition comprising an epoxy-based or glass-based composition or a composition comprising a composition comprising a sol-gel solution in which up to about 90% of said solution is a conductive powder in a uniform stable dispersion and said solution conductive powder is a member selected from the group consisting of metals, ceramics, interceramics and semi-conductors, the heating unit and the temperature sensor unit being provided as two units, which are electrically insulated from each other and with are mechanically supported by the heat transfer unit. The invention also relates to a method of heating an appliance and to a method of providing a heating element.

Heating element with temperature sensor

A hair treatment device and a corresponding method for treating hair are disclosed. The hair treatment device is suitable for heating hair and has a heating element that is heated to a starting temperature and whose temperature is regulated by a temperature control. The hair treatment device has a sensor that measures data from which a parameter based on the condition of the hair can be generated, wherein the parameter influences the temperature control.

Automated hair care process

The present invention relates to a hair care device (), having a handle (), a function head () which can be connected to the handle (), and which has a hair treatment device (), particularly a brush and/or a tooth field, and having an ion-discharging device () for discharging ions onto the hair, the ion-discharging device () having at least one ion outlet (). According to the invention, the hair care device () is characterized in that the function head () and/or a housing part which surrounds the ion outlet () has at least one grounding area for dissipating/limiting electronic charges. The present invention relates to a hair care device () with a handle (), an operational head connected to the handle () having a hair treatment apparatus (), in particular a bristle field and/or a comb tooth field, and an ion-producing apparatus () for producing ions on the hair, having at least one ion outlet ().
