Patient connection for the artificial respiration of a patient

A process and system are provided for transmitting monitoring states between respirators. The process includes the detection of and recording of monitoring states of a monitoring unit () of at least a first monitoring period () of a first respirator (). There is an assignment of an identification to the monitoring states of the monitoring unit () of the at least first monitoring period () of the first respirator (). There is a transmission of the monitoring states of the monitoring unit () of the at least first monitoring period () of the first respirator () to a second respirator (). This is followed by a setting of the monitoring unit () of the second respirator () corresponding to the transmitted monitoring states of the monitoring unit () of the at least first monitoring period () of the first respirator (). This is then followed by a repetition of steps for the monitoring states of the monitoring unit () of each additional monitoring period () of the first respirator ().

Process and system for transmitting monitoring states

A medical device has a fluid port (), a tube (), a socket (), which can be connected to the fluid port and to the tube with freely selectable rotation positions. The tube is provided with a transponder () and with a writing and reading device for communication with the transponder, which has an antenna () in the area of the fluid port. The socket is provided with a coil () each, whose axis of rotation is directed essentially coaxially to the axis of rotation about which the relative rotation position of the socket is variable. The two coils are connected by electric lines (), to which at least one capacitor () is connected as a circuit component. The coils, the electric lines and the circuit component form an electric oscillatory circuit for transmitting signals between the writing and reading device and the transponder.

Medical device with a fluid port

A breathing tube connecting device is provided for connecting a breathing tube to at least two respirators. The breathing tube connecting device includes a base body with a breathing gas through duct embodied in the base body, a jacket body, which can be meshed with the base body in a positive-locking manner and thus encloses at least a part of the base body in a coaxial manner, and a transponder. The transponder is provided between the base body and the jacket body. The breathing gas through duct and the jacket body are embodied at least partly as a coupling section for a selective connection of the breathing tube to one of the at least two respirators.

A multipart medical engineering system, which comprises at least two components that can be connected via positioning-determining connection feature (). At least one component () is intended to remain in the vicinity of the patient in the connected and unconnected states of the system and at least one component () can be removed or replaced with other components in the unconnected state. The component () intended to remain in the vicinity of the patient contains a data storage element () that can be written to and read via an interface () that is mechanically integrated in the position-determining connection means ().

Multipart medical engineering system

An anesthesia system is provided including an anesthesia apparatus, an anesthetic dispenser with an anesthetic reservoir, at least one dispensing parameter detection means, a contactless interface between the anesthesia apparatus and the anesthetic dispenser for transmitting data, especially the dispensing parameters, and for supplying the at least one dispensing parameter detection means with energy. The data and energy transmission takes place by means of electromagnetic field forces.

Anesthesia system

The invention relates to a medical system () with a monitoring station () and at least one medical work station (). The medical work station () is designed to gather physiological data of a patient (). The invention is characterized in that the at least one medical work station () comprises a respiratory device () with a connection () for a respiratory hose (). The medical work station () comprises a radio frequency detection unit (), which is designed for detecting a radio frequency marking () connected with a respiratory hose in the region of the connection for a respiratory hose, and to create a marking signal, representing the marking information. The medical system () is designed to associated the physiological data and the patient data, particularly the data set representing the physiological data and the patient data set, with each other, as a function of the marking signal.

A system is provided for clearing modes of operation on a multicomponent medical instrument with a basic instrument () and at least one connectable accessory instrument () for the basic instrument (). The accessory instrument () is equipped with a wireless, readable data memory () for modes of operation of the medical instrument and the basic instrument () has a reading unit () for the data memory (). The reading unit (), when the accessory instrument () is connected, reaches a sending/receiving range for reading out the data.

System for clearing modes of operation on a multicomponent medical instrument

A process and a device/system are provided for the automatic identification of the type of a breathing tube. A memory element () is connected to the breathing tube (). The memory element carries stored data identifying the breathing tube (). The data are read by a reading unit (), which is part of a respirator (). The data may be read when the breathing tube () is brought into the vicinity of the respirator () or connected thereto.

A patient care unit () with a reclining surface has one or more docking devices designed as inductive coupling sites () for medical technical devices (), which consume electrical energy and can be connected to the patient care unit. The inductive coupling sites () also supply the patient care unit () with electrical energy by means of an external line connection, which is likewise coupled inductively with the patient care unit ().

A respirator shall be improved concerning better utilization of the carbon dioxide absorber (). To accomplish the object, a transponder (), which contains data on the type of absorber, the period of use and the current state of consumption, is arranged at the carbon dioxide absorber (). A transponder polling device () at the respirator () reads the data from the memory chip () and an updated state of consumption is calculated from data on the operation of the respirator and stored again in the memory chip ().

A radio frequency detection system is provided that includes at least two radio frequency detection devices, which have an antenna each with a detection range for a radio frequency identification and detect the radio frequency identification information provided in the detection range. The radio frequency detection system is designed to attenuate a detection range of a detecting radio frequency detection device in the detection range of the at least one other radio frequency detection device by means of a compensation member such that the radio frequency identification cannot be detected by the detecting radio frequency detection device in the detection area of the at least one other radio frequency detection device. The compensation member feeds a compensation current to the at least one other antenna to generate an opposing magnetic field, which attenuates or extinguishes the magnetic field of the detecting antenna in the at least one other detection range, by the at least one other antenna in the at least one other detection range.

A process for operating a respiration system () makes it possible, rapidly and with simple means, to operate the respiration system (). The system and method use respiratory flow sensor-specific, patient- and/or treatment-related operating data and a respiratory flow sensor (). A reading unit present in the respiration system () reads the contents of a transponder () connected to the respiratory flow sensor (), so that the respiration system () is ready to operate only after the operating data have been read.

A medical device and system is provided with a device housing and with a radio frequency detection device. The radio frequency detection device is functionally connected to an antenna for detecting a radio frequency identification element. The radio frequency detection device has a transmitter and an at least partly electrically conductive shield, which encloses at least the transmitter such that a field generated by the transmitter is effectively shielded towards the outside and the antenna is arranged within the housing and outside the shield.
