The invention relates to a method of generating a laser marking in a security document by means of at least one laser beam, the security document having at least one laser-markable layer and also at least one reflecting layer which overlaps at least partly with the at least one laser-markable layer and has opaque regions. The at least one reflecting layer has at least one transparent region and, at least visually, is not significantly altered by the laser treatment of the laser-markable layer.

Method of generating a laser mark in a security document, and security document of this kind

The invention concerns a security element () for RF identification, and a security document which is provided with such a security element (). The security element has a flexible film body () into which are integrated an electronic circuit which is designed for the storage of security-relevant items of information and an RF antenna which is connected to the electronic circuit and which serves for contact-less communication of the electronic circuit with a test device. Permanently fixed on a surface of the flexible film body () is a first optically variable element () which at least region-wise covers the region of the flexible film body in which the electronic circuit is arranged, wherein permanently fixed on the other opposite surface of the flexible film body is a second optically variable element.

Security element for RF identification

The present invention relates to an individualized security document such as a passport, savings book or bankbook or the like which has a number of pages which are joined together by means of a fixing or adhesive. Incorporated into the security document by means of the fixing or adhesive is a transfer film which is provided with security elements and which has a base film and a decorative layer arrangement having the security elements. The decorative layer arrangement can be transferred onto the associated page of the security document. At the same time the base film is detached from the decorative layer arrangement and can be cut out of the security document.

Individualized security document

Proposed is a security film system for documents or in general data carriers having a transfer layer and an adhesive or gluing layer portion which has at least one micro-encapsulated reactive adhesive component, wherein the adhesive or gluing layer portion remains activatable over a period of time of up to at least one year and the at least one reactive adhesive component hardens after activation to form a duromer.
