An ankle/foot orthosis with a foot part, which has a sole for receiving a foot, and with a shin part which, when fitted in place, bears on the frontal aspect of a shin and is connected to the foot part via a medially extending spring, wherein the spring, behind an ankle area, forms a hinge area that allows a movement of the shin part relative to the foot part in the anterior-posterior direction.

Ankle/foot orthosis

A locking hinge with a first component and a second component which are mounted against each other in a pivotal manner relative to each other about a pivot axis. The first component has a latching recess, and the second component has a latching element which is designed to penetrate the latching recess in a latching position of the first component relative to the second component, thus preventing a pivoting movement of the first component relative to the second component in at least one direction. The latching element is designed to penetrate the latching recess to different depths in at least two different latching positions.

Locking hinge

A device for supporting at least one arm of a user includes one or more arm support elements each of which has an arm shell for placing the at least one arm of the user on the arm shell. Force is applied to the arm support elements by at least one passive actuator. A counter bearing for the applied force includes a force transmission element and a counter bearing element. A force application lever is engaged by the one passive actuator and is connected to the arm support or the force transmission element. The force application lever is torque proof and confines an angle which is adjustable.

Device for supporting at least one arm of a user

An orthopedic joint device having a lower leg part, a foot part that is arranged on the lower leg part about a swivel axis such that it can be swivelled, at least a first energy store, and a coupling element. The coupling element can be brought into a coupling position, in which a swivelling of the foot part relative to the lower leg part about the swivel axis in a plantar flexion direction leads to an increase in the amount of energy stored in the first energy store, and a de-coupling position. The orthopedic joint device also has at least one release element, which can be brought into a release position and a locked position. The energy stored in the first energy store can be released by bringing the release element into the release position.

A method for producing a molding, the shape of which is adapted to an initial mold, in which method a plurality of layers are deformably placed on top of one another such that the layers can be joined to each other by heat. The layers are deformed by being pressed onto the initial mold and in order to join the layers. Heat is applied in the deformed state. In the arrangement made of layers, at least one converter element is introduced that transforms supplied energy into heat energy and with which at least parts of the layers are heated to join the layers.
