A camshaft adjuster () is provided, including a drive element () and a driven element (), which can be rotated in relation to the drive element within an angular range and can be connected to a camshaft, wherein pressurizable working chambers () for rotating the drive element () with respect to the driven element () are formed between the drive element () and the driven element (), wherein the camshaft adjuster () has a volume accumulator () for collecting hydraulic medium, wherein the volume accumulator () supplies the hydraulic medium to a vacuum-pressurized working chamber () via a check valve () in that the vacuum in the working chamber () opens the check valve (), characterized in that the check valve () is arranged in an axial position between the working chamber () and the volume accumulator (), and the volume accumulator () is formed by a cover element () connected to the drive element () for conjoint rotation.

Camshaft adjuster

The invention relates to a camshaft adjusting system () for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, including a hydraulic camshaft adjuster () which has a stator (), a rotor () that is rotatably mounted in the stator (), and a hydraulic control system () that has a valve (). The rotor () has at least one vane which protrudes into a pressure chamber formed between the rotor () and the stator () such that the pressure chamber is divided into two sub-chambers, each of which interacts with the hydraulic control system () such that a hydraulic pressure ratio is established between the two sub-chambers, said ratio specifying a relative rotational position between the rotor () and the stator (), and is adjusted on the basis of the position of the valve (). The camshaft adjusting system also includes an actuator () which is arranged adjacently in the axial direction of the camshaft adjuster () and which acts on the valve () for adjusting purposes. A hydraulic fluid section () is arranged on an actuator () face facing the camshaft adjuster (), with this hydraulic fluid section () being designed to deflect a flow of hydraulic fluid exiting the valve () into the surroundings of the camshaft adjuster () back into the camshaft adjuster () in an operational state.

A camshaft adjuster including a stator, a rotor and a pressure medium supply, at least one chamber being formed on the stator, which is divided into two working chambers by at least one vane formed on the rotor or rotatably fixedly connected to the rotor is provided. A pressure medium is applicable to each of the two working chambers via the pressure medium supply in such a way that a pressure of the pressure medium may be increased in each of the working chambers to the extent that the pressure increase results in a rotation of the rotor. A switchable valve is formed in the vane of the rotor, which, in a first switching position of the valve, allows a flow of the pressure medium from a first working chamber through the vane into a second working chamber, in a second switching position the valve hydraulically separating the working chambers from each other. A locking element, which fixes the vane in a defined position with respect to the chamber, is designed to control an inflow or outflow of the pressure medium into or out of a working chamber. The pressure medium supply includes an oil pump, a supply line connecting the oil pump to at least one of the working chambers and a hydraulic accumulator, which differs from the oil pump and the supply line.

A stator-cover unit () for a camshaft adjuster designed for use in an internal combustion engine, having a toothed ring () for receiving a torque, there being integrally connected to said toothed ring a stator () in the form of a housing, having a locking cover () which is separate from the stator (), wherein the locking cover () is connected rotationally conjointly to the stator (), wherein the stator () and the locking cover (), at least during assembly, are held rotationally conjointly secured in said position by means of a projection () on one of the two components, which projection engages with a form fit into a recess () on the other of the two components. Camshaft adjuster and stator cover unit for automatic adjustment of a locking device

A camshaft adjuster for an internal combustion engine, having a stator, a rotor mounted rotatably in the interior of the stator, and a locking cover connected to the stator. A hydraulically actuatable locking element is received in the rotor and engages into the locking cover in at least one blocking position, so as to block a rotation of the rotor relative to the stator, and is arranged in at least one unlocking position so that the rotor can be rotated relative to the stator. A blocking pin acts in at least one hydraulic channel connected hydraulically to the locking element so that the hydraulic channel is connected to a recovery tank or is disconnected from the recovery tank depending on the position of the blocking pin, wherein the hydraulic channel has a first channel section in the locking cover, and the first channel section and the blocking pin are arranged so that the blocking pin seals the hydraulic channel from the recovery tank in at least one first end position, in a first pressure range which prevails in the hydraulic channel by way of contact with the locking cover.

A camshaft adjuster has multiple locking guide slots and multiple locking pins spring-loaded in the direction of engagement with the locking guide slots and which, by varying assignment to the rotor and to the stator, are arranged relative to one another such that the rotor can, under the action of fluctuating torques, be automatically locked into the predetermined center position relative to the stator proceeding from a first early or late stop position by a successive engagement of the locking pins into the locking guide slots. The locking pins and the locking guide slots are arranged so that, in the event of a rotation of the rotor in the direction of the center locking position proceeding from the respective other second early or late stop position, the locking pins lock into the locking guide slots in the reverse sequence from different directions.

A camshaft adjusting device including a vane cell adjuster with a stator which can be connected to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and with a rotor which is rotatably mounted in the stator and can be connected to a camshaft. The camshaft adjusting device also includes a central locking device for locking the rotor in a central locking position relative to the stator.
