A module an aircraft fuselage includes a support device including a lower end for connection to a fuselage structure in a lower deck of the fuselage, an upper end for connection to an intermediate floor in the fuselage, and an energy absorption element between the upper end and the lower end. A wall panel is connected to the support device and extends along a longitudinal axis and a circumferential direction. In case of a defined crash of an underside of the aircraft fuselage, the energy absorption element is configured to undergo a defined plastic deformation and absorb a defined amount of kinetic energy of that a part of the fuselage structure connected to the lower end of the support device. The plastic deformation and amount of absorbed energy are of a magnitude that in case of defined crash, the module is configured where the fuselage structure will, at the underside of the aircraft fuselage, deform no more than a minimum height.

An aircraft fuselage for transporting passengers in a lower deck, the fuselage having a longitudinal axis and interior compartment, having an intermediate floor fastened to the fuselage structure, extending through the interior compartment and dividing the interior compartment into an upper deck and a lower deck, having a support device for supporting the intermediate floor on the fuselage structure. The support device is fastened to the intermediate floor and by an opposite end in the lower deck to the fuselage structure. The support device has a concave form and has an energy absorption element such that in a crash of an underside of the fuselage undergoes a defined plastic deformation and absorbs a defined amount of kinetic energy. In a crash, the fuselage structure is, at the underside of the aircraft fuselage, deformed at most to such an extent that a minimum height between a seat surface of passenger seats in the lower deck and the intermediate floor is not undershot.

A communication system for an aircraft comprises a communication interface with the outside of the aircraft and an avionics domain of which the security level is the highest of the communication system. It also comprises a communication domain to which is connected the communication interface and of which the security level is lower than the security level of the avionics domain. A barrier of a first type is arranged to filter the information coming from the communication interface so as to allow the information to pass into the communication domain only if the information corresponds to an authenticated communication. A barrier of a second type is arranged to filter information transmitted from the communication domain to the avionics domain, carrying out at least a syntactic filtering of the information.
