The present invention relates to a system and a method for producing sausage-shaped products, like sausages, containing a flowable filling material in a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing and a suspension element, like a suspension loop. The system includes a clipping machine for producing the sausage-shaped products, a discharge device for discharging the sausage-shaped products out of the clipping machine and a feeding device for feeding a rod-like element into a loading position in which the sausage-shaped products are stored on the rod-like element by the discharge device.

Direct hanging line

A casing brake assembly and a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products which includes such a casing brake assembly is presented. The casing brake assembly comprises a safety means comprising at least one tubular element and at least one switch element. The at least one tubular element is arranged coaxially with the tubular support means upstream with respect to a filling direction. The tubular element is axially spaced apart and moveably arranged with respect to the tubular support means. The switch element is stationary with respect to the tubular element and arranged for interacting with at least one safety means of the production apparatus. The casing brake assembly and a clipping machine using the casing brake assembly allow a high level of security for the operator.

Casing brake assembly with moveable safety means

A supply of suspension elements, like suspension loops, are configured for being fed in a feeding direction to a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products, like sausages, and configured for being attached to said sausage-shaped products. The supply comprises a carrier strip having at least an upper and a lower surface as well as and two longitudinally extending edges arranged parallel to each other. The supply further comprises and a number of suspension elements attached to the upper or lower surface of the carrier strip in at least substantially regular intervals, wherein the carrier strip including the suspension elements is wound up, thereby forming a roll. At least one mark which is attached to the carrier strip at a predefined distance from its end.

Clip supply

The invention concerns a rotary bearing with current feed-through means, in particular for a sausage clipping machine, wherein the rotary bearing has a bearing casing and a bearing shaft rotatably accommodated therein and wherein the bearing casing and the bearing shaft are at least partially made from an electrically conducting material. It is further provided that there is at least one current path which passes through the bearing casing and the bearing shaft and which is electrically insulated at least with respect to the electrically conducting portions of the bearing shaft and the bearing casing and which has at least one outer connecting terminal on the bearing casing and the bearing shaft respectively.

The invention consists in a method of setting up a machine for sealing closure clips between a stamp and a bottom tool, which for coaling the clip are first of all moved towards each other up to a sealing distance and are then moved away from each other, and where the sealing distance between stamp and bottom tool is detected by means of a sensor. The invention also consists in a device for sealing closure clips between a stamp and a bottom tool, where the device includes a sensor for detecting a sealing distance between stamp and bottom tool.

This invention consists in a method of sealing tubular or bag-shaped packaging casings (,) filled with a tough filling, where the packaging casing (,) is first of all compressed to an adjustable degree, so that a pinched area (,) is produced, beside which a neck without filling is then produced by crimping the packaging casing (,), which neck is subsequently, if necessary, extended and sealed by setting two closure clips. The invention also consists in a sealing device comprising a crimping element (,) and an additional clamping means (,) for compressing the package beside the crimping element.
