Mount for an armrest in the interior of a motor vehicle

An energy-absorbing deformation element is provided for a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, wherein the deformation element in the mounted state is arranged in a collision region between a covering part and a vehicle body, and more particularly, between a headliner and a vehicle roof. The deformation element has an essentially U-shaped profile, on free end regions of which is disposed a flange at least in certain regions. A plurality of cutouts or recesses are provided in the flanges on each free end region.

Energy-absorbing deformation element for a vehicle

A motor vehicle has a head-protecting side airbag disposed in a region of a lateral roof strut. The airbag is covered by a panel which can be pierced by the side airbag when the need arises. The panel merges laterally into a headliner which covers the vehicle roof on the inside facing the passenger compartment. It is essential for the invention that at least one fastening assembly is provided which is arranged at the transition of the panel to the headliner and fixes both the panel and the headliner to the roof strut.

A vehicle body of a motor vehicle includes side members. Each side member exhibits pillars, to which a pillar covering is assigned. A roof side member extends above the pillars of each side member. In the region of the roof side member, ahead airbag, which, when triggered in the region of the C pillar, impinges on the C pillar covering assigned to the C pillar, opens the C pillar covering along a desired opening line formed by a material recess. The head airbag is assigned a catch strap, where one end of the catch strap engages with the head airbag, and the opposite end of the catch strap engages with the C pillar. The C pillar, or a component, adjacent to the C pillar, is assigned a guide element, which is intended for the head airbag as well as the catch strap, and which, on triggering the head airbag, guides this head airbag as well as the catch strap.

Vehicle body

An adapter device for a grab handle has a deformation element with at least two end regions. The end regions of the deformation element are connected to each other by at least one web and each have at least one fastening element for the grab handle. The deformation element is configured in such a manner that, in a first loading situation (normal use situation), it is supported by the retaining element and, in a second loading situation (crash situation), it is deformed in the region of the at least one web. The grab handle can thus be mounted in an extremely stable manner with regard to loading in a pulling direction, i.e. in the normal use situation, without the energy-absorbing deformation properties of the adapter device being adversely affected in the crash situation.

An arrangement fastens a loudspeaker covered by a loudspeaker screen to a covering part of a vehicle. The covering part has a recess adjacent to the loudspeaker. The loudspeaker screen and a holding part are mutually connected by fastening screws, and are locally supported on opposite sides of the covering part. Several mutually spaced domes are arranged on and projecting away from the loudspeaker screen to penetrate openings constructed at the covering part. Either the holding part or the loudspeaker is fitted onto the free end of each dome projecting over the covering part and being held in position thereon by a screwed-in fastening screw.

An air flow control arrangement is constructed with an air feed into an interior of a motor vehicle. Vertical and horizontal air guiding vanes are swivelably arranged in a housing, and controllable by way of an adjusting device. The housing can be fastened in an opening of a column paneling. The housing has a vertically aligned air guiding duct that includes a first lower duct section with an adjusting flap which can be swiveled about a bearing axis into a horizontal closed position, a vertical open position and intermediate positions, and a second adjoining upper duct section with the integrated air guiding vanes. The adjusting flap can be operated by means of the operating element via a reversing bow which is connected with a crank of the flap and can be swiveled at the housing in a bearing. The housing is fastened by detent hooks which can be snapped onto edges of the column paneling. Furthermore, a retaining spring fastens the head side of the housing.

A deformation element is arranged in vehicle pillars and/or between an inside roof lining and a transverse roof support and comprises U-beam shaped elements connected through connecting ribs to form a unit. Reinforcement ribs are provided within the U-shaped beams of the deformation element.

Energy absorbing deformation element

Detachable fastening of an inner lining, in particular a roof lining, at a receiving part of a motor vehicle, whereby an edge protection profile, which interacts with a deposited peripheral area of the inner lining, is slipped on a flange of the receiving part and locking hooks for fastening are provided locally on the inner lining. The deposited peripheral area of the inner lining is inserted into a receiving groove of the edge protection profile and the locking hooks of the inner lining interact with the edge protection profile.
