A gas mask, for use with a gas filter or with a demand oxygen system, includes an elastic mask body, a connector and a counter-support. The elastic mask body is configured to be placed over the mouth and the nose of a user of the gas mask. The connector is attached to the elastic mask body and is configured to fix a gas filter or an end piece of a tube in a mount of the connector. The counter-support is attached to the elastic mask body and has a contact area for a support projection of the connector. The connector and the counter-support are arranged such that a force exerted on the connector in a direction of the user acts on the contact area of the counter-support at least partially via the support projection. The support projection is integrated at the connector by manufacturing in one piece.

Gas mask

A head protection device (), for protecting the head, includes a head bracket (), with a visor () fastened rotatably to the head bracket () via two swivel joints (), and with a branched air duct (), which has one air inlet () and a plurality of air outlets (). At least one of the air outlets () is arranged as a chin air outlet () at a lateral section () of the visor. At least one of the swivel joints () forms an inner air channel () extending as a part of the air duct () from the head bracket () to the visor (). In addition, a respirator device is provided with the head protection device ().

Head protection device and respirator device

A system includes a blower filter system (), having a blower filter device (), a head piece () and a flexible connection hose (), connecting the blower filter device () and the head piece to one another in a fluid-communicating manner. A computer () is separated in space from the blower filter system. The computer has a communication interface (), which is designed to transmit data from the computer to the control unit () of the blower filter device and/or to receive data from the control unit of the blower filter device to the computer. The blower filter device has at least one communication interface () for transmitting data from the control unit to an external computer and/or for receiving data sent from an external computer to the control unit. A process is provided for checking and setting device-specific parameters of the blower filter device of the blower filter system.

A blower filter device () for a respirator system () has a filter unit () receiving an air filter () and a blower unit () drawing in the filtered air and generating discharged air. The blower unit has a blower () and a driving motor (). An improved respirator system is provided with the blower filter device having a pressure sensor () arranged in the discharged air measuring the pressure of the discharged air, a mass flow sensor () arranged in the discharged air measuring the mass flow of the discharged air, or a parameter-determining unit () determining an operating parameter of the motor. A control unit () determines the volume flow of the discharged air via the measured pressure, the measured mass flow or based on the operating parameter determined and sets the motor as a function of the volume flow determined.

Blower filter device

A safety hood (), with a head strap () for fixation on the head () of a user of the hood, has features for adjusting the head strap () to different head sizes and/or head shapes. The respirator hood () has, further, a visor pane () and a flexible hood outer skin (), which are connected with one another and of which the visor pane () is indirectly or directly fastened to the head strap (). The visor pane () is fastened indirectly or directly to the head strap () exclusively in the area () of the forehead of the user of the hood.

A breathing mask shall has an inspiration valve () that can be replaced in a simple manner. The breathing valve () is designed for this purpose as a modular assembly unit that can be inserted into the breathing gas channel () from the outer side () of the mask.

A gas mask for normal pressure operation and overpressure operation allows changeover of the expiration valve () from normal pressure operation to overpressure operation is made possible in a simple manner. The pretension of the valve spring () of the expiration valve () is adjusted by an angle lever () pivotable about an axis of rotation ().
