To increase charge carrier density in the conducting layers, a charge carrier doping layer present on at least one surface of the one or more conductive layers of topological semi-metals. The present disclosure includes dipole line trap system, a method for tuning a natural frequency of a dipole line trap system, and seismometer. One embodiment of the dipole line trap system may comprise a first axis unit. The first axis unit may comprise a first group of at least three cylindrical diametric magnets mounted in parallel around a first open region, and a first diamagnetic object in the first open region. In some embodiments, the first axis unit may comprise four cylindrical diametric magnets mounted in parallel around the first open region. In some embodiments, the first axis unit may have a natural frequency of less than 1 Hz.

From each of a plurality of cameras, a visual input of a location is received over a network. For each visual input from the plurality of cameras, a coupling correction is performed between a shaking of the camera with respect to the visual input by subtracting velocity vectors of the plurality of cameras from velocity vectors of pixels defining the visual input to provide a processed input. It is determined whether a shaking identified in the processed input is above a predetermined threshold based on the processed input, thereby detecting one or more anomalies. One embodiment of the rotational oscillation sensor may comprise a first plurality of parallel dipole line (PDL) sensor unit units. The system can also comprise a split photodetector sensor positioned adjacent to the parallel dipole line trap. The split photodetector sensor can detect a displacement of the diamagnetic object.

A system for and methods of semiconductor testing and characterization are disclosed. The system includes a parallel dipole line (PDL) system for applying a magnetic field to a sample in a measurement chamber and electrical equipment for testing the sample. The testing includes applying a first light exposure to the sample with the PDL system set to zero magnetic field and monitoring longitudinal resistance (R) of the sample as intensity of the first light exposure varies. A second light exposure is applied with the PDL system set to maximum magnetic field, and transverse magnetoresistance (R) is monitored as light intensity varies. A third light exposure is applied with the PDL system set to minimum magnetic field, and transverse magnetoresistance (R) is monitored as light intensity varies. The characterization includes carrying out a photo-Hall analysis based on data from the testing.

Systems and methods are provided that facilitate high-sensitivity, carrier-resolved photo-Hall effect measurements. Majority and minority carrier properties can be measured and determined simultaneously. In one aspect, a system and method determine majority carrier type, density and mobility and, with modulated illumination, minority carrier mobility and photocarrier density. In another aspect, a system and method can determine hole and electron mobility, photocarrier density, absorbed photon density, recombination lifetime and diffusion length for hole, electron and ambipolar transport.

Aspects of the invention include arranging two cylindrical magnets with transverse magnetization to be parallel to each other along their longitudinal axis. The two cylindrical magnets have a space between them and are prevented from moving relative to one another. An exemplary method includes disposing a diamagnetic object to levitate above the space between the two cylindrical magnets. A motion detector is arranged to identify relative movement between the two cylindrical magnets and the object, and an infrasound wave is identified based on the relative movement.
