A display device includes: a substrate; a light emitting element layer disposed on the substrate; and a sensor electrode layer disposed on an encapsulation layer and including: a plurality of first touch electrode groups extending along a first direction; a plurality of first touch electrodes, of the plurality of first touch electrode groups, arranged along the first direction; a plurality of second touch electrode groups extending along the second direction and arranged along the first direction; a first contact electrode connected to any one of the plurality of first touch electrodes of any one of the plurality of first touch electrode groups; and a second contact electrode connected to any one of the plurality of first touch electrodes of another of the plurality of first touch electrode groups, and wherein an area of the first contact electrode is greater than an area of the second contact electrode.

Display device

A display device includes a first display area including first pixels, driving electrodes, and sensing electrodes. A second display area includes second pixels, sub-driving electrodes, and sub-sensing electrodes. Auxiliary electrodes are between the first and second display areas. A number of first pixels per unit area of the first display area is greater than a number of second pixels per unit area of the second display area.

The disclosure relates to a display device and a method of driving the same. The display device includes: a display panel which displays an image in a plurality of pixel areas; a timing controller which supplies a control signal for controlling a display position, a display shape, a display size and the number of at least one touch bar; and a data driver which supplies a data signal to display the at least one touch bar at the display position in response to the control signal.

Display device and method of controlling plurality of display devices

A display device includes a display panel including a non-folding area and a sliding area in order along a first direction, a display surface in the non-folding area and the sliding area, and the sliding area including an exposed area of the display surface closest to the non-folding area, the exposed area having a length along the first direction which is variable, a support member coupled to the display panel and movable together with the display panel, and a housing facing the support member with the display panel therebetween and defining an opening corresponding to the non-folding area. The housing is slidably extendable and contractable along the first direction, at the sliding area, the housing which is slidably contracted defines a first length of the exposed area, and the housing which is slidably extended defines a second length of the exposed area which is larger than the first length.
