An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display is provided. One inventive aspect includes: a substrate, a scan line formed on the substrate and transmitting a scan signal, a data line configured to intersect the scan line and to transmit a data signal, a switching transistor connected to the scan line and the data line, a driving transistor connected to a switching drain electrode of the switching transistor, a compensation transistor connected to the driving transistor, an aging transistor connected to a driving drain electrode of the driving transistor and a source electrode of the compensation transistor, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) connected to a driving drain electrode of the driving transistor. The compensation transistor is configured to compensate a threshold voltage of the driving transistor. The aging transistor is configured to perform an aging process for reducing a leakage current of the compensation transistor.

Organic light emitting diode display

A pixel capable of stably compensating for a threshold voltage is disclosed. The pixel includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a driving transistor having a gate electrode, a source electrode, and first and second drain electrodes. The pixel also has a plurality of second transistors serially coupled between the first drain electrode and a gate electrode of the driving transistor, and a node electrically coupled to the second drain electrode and to each of the second transistors.

Pixel and organic light emitting display using the same

Organic light emitting display apparatus and method of manufacturing the same

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the OLED display includes: i) gate wires positioned on a substrate in a first direction, ii) data wires positioned on the gate wires in a second direction crossing the first direction, iii) a pixel circuit including first thin film transistors respectively connected to the gate wires and the data wires and iii) an OLED connected to the pixel circuit. The first thin film transistor may also include a first active layer interconnecting the data wires and the OLED and including a channel region and source and drain regions doped with an impurity, and a first gate electrode positioned over the first active layer with first and second insulation layers sequentially interposed therebetween, wherein the second insulation layer is positioned on the channel region.

An organic light emitting display device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of thin film transistors (TFTs) formed on a first surface of the substrate; a passivation layer covering the plurality of TFTs; a plurality of first pixel electrodes formed on the passivation layer and respectively electrically connected to the plurality of TFTs, and overlapping with the plurality of TFTs so as to cover the plurality of TFTs, and including a reflection layer formed of a light-reflecting conductive material; a second pixel electrode formed of a light-transmitting conductive material and disposed on the passivation layer so as to be electrically connected to the plurality of first pixel electrodes; an opposite electrode formed such that light is transmitted or reflected therethrough, and disposed opposite the plurality of first pixel electrodes and the second pixel electrode; and an organic layer interposed between the plurality of first pixel electrodes and the second pixel electrode, and including an emission layer. Accordingly, transmittivity of the organic light emitting display device is increased, and optical outcoupling efficiency of the organic light emitting display device is also increased during double-sided emission.

Organic light emitting display device

An organic light emitting diode display is disclosed. The display includes: a substrate; a first electrode positioned on the substrate; an organic emission layer positioned on the first electrode; a second electrode positioned on the organic emission layer; and a semi-transmissive layer positioned between the substrate and the first electrode and having a plurality of refractive layers having different refractive indices.
