A radiator for a vehicle includes a built-in oil cooler tank. The radiator includes two header tanks and a core member disposed between the header tanks. One of the header tanks includes a support member disposed along an inner surface of the header tank and further defines an aperture. The oil cooler tank includes two ports and a core portion extending between the ports. Each of the ports has a rim and defines a bore. The rim of a given port is disposed within a given support member such that the bore of the given port aligns with a given aperture of the header tank.

Mounting structure for in-tank oil cooler and radiator

A heat exchanger having a heat exchange surface comprising a plurality of tubes, a pair of tanks, an end plate, and a shroud disposed to cover the heat exchange surface, wherein, the shroud provides a first hook and a second hook at it's a vertical wall, and the end plate is held in place either between the first hook and the second hook, or between the second hook and the vertical wall. With the above structure, the fan shroud assembly can hold two types of heat exchangers having different thickness.

Heat exchange device

A radiator tank for a radiator. The radiator tank includes a plurality of first reinforcement members spaced apart along a first sidewall. A plurality of second reinforcement members are spaced apart along a second sidewall. A plurality of third reinforcement members are spaced apart along an upper portion that extends from the first sidewall to the second sidewall. Both the first and the second reinforcement members are on one of an outer surface or an inner surface of the radiator tank. The third reinforcement members are on the other one of the outer surface or the inner surface. The first and the second reinforcement members terminate prior to reaching the upper portion, and the third reinforcement members terminate prior to reaching both the first sidewall and the second sidewall.

Complementary ribs for added structural strength

An attachment system for two members includes a primary attachment device and a secondary attachment device for connecting the two members. When damage to the primary attachment device occurs, the secondary attachment device can be used to connect the two members without having to repair the primary attachment device.
