Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of Channel Occupancy Time (COT) for Sidelink (SL) communication in Unlicensed band (U-band). The method includes receiving, at a first device and from a second device, configuration information associated with a COT at least for a SL transmission of the first device on an unlicensed resource pool allocated for the first device, the configuration information at least indicating whether a listen before talk procedure is required to be performed at the first device within the COT before the SL transmission; and performing the SL transmission within the COT based on the configuration information. In this way, the COT sharing mechanism can be used for SL communications in U-band and therefore a sensing procedure for resource selection may not be impacted by the LBT procedure.

Channel occupancy time for sidelink communication in unlicensed band

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for identifier (ID)-based inter-user equipment (UE) resource allocation (RA). A method may include receiving, at a first user equipment, a list of identifiers used for communication between a second user equipment and its one or more peer user equipment (UEs). The method may also include obtaining information of a first resource reserved for communication between the second user equipment and its one or more peer user equipment, based on the received list of identifiers. The method may further include determining a second resource for the second user equipment based on the obtained information of the first resource. In addition, the method may include allocating the second resource for sidelink communication of the second user equipment.

Certain examples of the present invention relate to carrier management in a wireless communication network. Certain examples provide a User Equipment, UE, comprising: means for receiving, following a maximum permissible exposure, MPE, event occurring during operation over a first carrier such that the UE is no longer operating over the first carrier, a first signal, over a second carrier, for configuring the UE to determine a status of the MPE event associated with the previously used first carrier; means for determining, responsive to receipt of the first signal, a current status of the MPE event associated with the previously used first carrier; and means for transmitting, responsive to receipt of the first signal, a second signal over the second carrier, wherein the second signal comprises an indication of the current status of the MPE event associated with the previously used first carrier.

Carrier management in a wireless communication network

A node configured to support a method of communicating between two nodes in the unlicensed spectrum is disclosed where a channel can be simultaneously used for downlink and uplink communication. The method performed at a node involves assessing at that node, for example, a UE, that there is a transmission to be made to a further node, for example a gNB. The first node receives an indication that communication with the further node is supported on a channel within an unlicensed spectrum using flexible frequency division duplex (FDD) techniques. The first node determines whether transmission by the further node is being made within a first portion of the channel within the unlicensed spectrum; and if so, transmits to the further node within a second portion of the channel which does not overlap with the first.

For example, a method can include determining, by a user equipment, whether a first condition is met for coordination on group synchronization reference for a group of user equipment. A method comprises selecting, one of a plurality of random access preambles that is received from a terminal device, the plurality of random access preambles being divided into a plurality of subsets of random access preambles; selecting at least one predefined sequence associated with the selected random access preamble based on a predetermined association between a plurality of predefined sequences and the plurality of subsets of random access preambles and based on a target resource unit to be used for transmission of control information and data information; modulating the control information with one of the at least one predefined sequence, the control information indicating configuration of the data information; and transmitting the selected random access preamble, the modulated control information, and the data information in a random access message to the network device.
