The centrifugal fan includes a base plate connected to a rotating shaft of a motor, a plurality of blades joined to a surface of the base plate, and a ring-shaped shroud joined to the plurality of blades to face the base plate. The blade is provided in such a way that a length of one end joint portion joined to the base plate is greater than a length of another end joint portion joined to the shroud, and with respect to a plane perpendicular to a rotation axis, an angle between a first straight line, which connects a leading edge position and a trailing edge position of the one end joint portion, and a straight line passing through a center point of the first straight line and a rotation center is less than an angle between a second straight line, which connects a leading edge position and a trailing edge position of the other end joint portion, and a straight line passing through a center point of the second straight line and the rotation center.

An air conditioner including a refrigerant circuit including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an outdoor expansion valve, an indoor expansion valve, and an indoor heat exchanger. The refrigerant circuit including an auxiliary heat exchanger provided on a refrigerant pipe between the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor expansion valve and connected in series with the outdoor expansion valve, and a rectifier configured to allow a refrigerant flowing from the outdoor heat exchanger toward the indoor expansion valve in a cooling operation or a refrigerant flowing from the indoor expansion valve toward the outdoor heat exchanger in a heating operation to sequentially flow through the auxiliary heat exchanger and the outdoor expansion valve.

Air conditioner

Disclosed herein is a blower blowing air and an outdoor unit of air conditioner having the same. The blower includes a fan, a motor driving the fan, and a motor support member disposed on a flow path, through which air generated by a rotation of the fan flows, to support the motor. The motor support member includes a cross-sectional shape including a maximum width portion having a maximum width in a direction perpendicular to the airflow direction, an upstream portion having a width being increased from the upstream side to the downstream side, and a downstream portion having a width being reduced from the upstream side to the downstream side. A downstream end located downstream of the downstream portion has a width in a direction perpendicular to the airflow direction.

Blower and outdoor unit of air conditioner having the same

A compressor and an air conditioner having the compressor, and a protective cover of a connecting terminal of the compressor is installed while spaced apart from a barrier of the connecting terminal. The protective cover is additionally provided with a noise preventing member. Vibration generated from the compressor is delivered to the protective cover via the barrier, but as the protective cover is provided to be spaced apart from the barrier, the vibration is delivered to the barrier through the noise preventing member. Thus, regardless of the state of vibration of the compressor, noise being generated by the protective cover is minimized.
