A plastic building wall mounting bracket assembly comprises a one-piece mounting bracket with a back wall and an integral continuous peripheral wall extending axially therefrom, a flange member having an outside flange and an integral flange wall extending axially therefrom to be received by the mounting bracket so that only the flange member is visible from outside the building.

Plastic building wall mount assembly

A portable sheet bending brake comprising a base and a plurality of C-shaped members positioned on the base. Each C-shaped member comprises a lower arm fixed to the base and an upper arm spaced from and overlying the lower arm. A first member is fixed to the lower arms of the C-shaped members and has a longitudinally extending clamping surface. A second member for bending a workpiece is hinged to the first member and extends longitudinally with respect to the first member. A longitudinally extending clamping member is pivoted to the upper arm of the C-shaped members. A handle member is provided on the brake for moving the clamping member. A cutter rotatably supports opposed cutting rolls and includes first rollers engaging the clamping member and second rollers engaging the bending member.

Combined sheet bending brake and cutter

A portable sheet bending brake comprising a base and a plurality of C-shaped members positioned on the base. Each C-shaped member comprises a lower arm fixed to the base and an upper arm spaced from and overlying the lower arm. A first member is fixed to the lower arms of the C-shaped members and has a longitudinally extending clamping surface. A second member for bending a workpiece is hinged to the first member and extends longitudinally with respect to the first member. A longitudinally extending clamping member is pivoted to the upper arm of the C-shaped members. A handle member is provided on the brake for moving the clamping member. A track extends longitudinally on the portable sheet bending brake and a cutter is removably mounted on the track and is movable longitudinally of the track. The cutter comprises opposed cutting rolls adjacent the clamping surface when the cutter is on the track such that the cutter may be moved along the track to cut a workpiece.

Combined portable sheet bending brake and cutter

A wall mounting bracket comprising a plastic body which includes a wall having an integral projection facing outwardly with a centering recess to receive the tip of a hole saw or the like. At least one opening is provided through the wall adjacent the projection. Preferably, a plurality of openings are provided at equally spaced radial locations adjacent the projection. In use, the body is mounted on the building and then siding is applied to the wall of the building and the edges of the siding or brought into closely adjacent relation with the plastic body. In a preferred form, the centering recess is provided on both sides of the wall.

Wall mounting assembly

A wall mounting bracket comprising a plastic body which includes a wall having an integral projection facing outwardly with a centering recess to receive the tip of a hole saw or the like. At least one opening is provided through the wall adjacent the projection. Preferably, a plurality of openings are provided at equally spaced radial locations adjacent the projection. In use, the body is mounted on the building and then siding is applied to the wall of the building and the edges of the siding or brought into closely adjacent relation with the plastic body.

A louvered plastic building product comprising a pair of plastic side rails which may be cut to desired length, a plurality of plastic shutter panels slidably received within tracks extending along the side rails, upper and lower plastic end rails extending between the side rails and capturing the panels in assembly, and a mullion piece separating the panels. The length of the side rails may be greater than the assembled length of the upper and lower end rails, panels and mullion. The mullion piece is providing with a lip that overlaps a portion of the adjacent panel such that when the various parts are assembled, the panels and mullion piece can be moved vertically to accommodate dimensional variations in length between the side rails and the assembled parts.

Louvered plastic building product

A ridge roof vent adapted to be mounted on the ridge of a roof and comprising a top wall that is spaced from the remainder of the vent and is adapted to receive overlapping pieces of shingle roofing material comprising transversely extending primary indicia provided along the length of the ridge roof vent and including secondary transverse indicia associated with the transverse primary indicia in repetitive series. Each series of transverse primary indicia spans a distance less than the length of a shingle piece. The transverse primary indicia associated with the secondary indicia are positioned such that when a first shingle piece is applied from one end, the end of the shingle piece will be positioned between a pair of equally spaced secondary indicia and can be used to provide an overlap of the ends of the shingle pieces without the need for measurement. The ridge roof vent further includes a longitudinally extending line defining the center of the ridge vent and the transverse primary indicia intersects the line. The ridge roof vent further includes longitudinally extending indicia corresponding to dimensional increments such that they serve as a guide for cutting the vent where the roof is such that a equal number of ridge vents cannot be used and a ridge vent needs to be cut.

Ridge roof vent

A roof vent comprising a one piece plastic body including a base wall having transversely spaced rows of integral vanes extending from one surface thereof. The vanes of adjacent rows are positioned such that the vanes define a sinuous path. Preferably, one of each of the rows has the wings extending at an acute angle to the axis of the wall and the other row of each set of rows has the wings extending at an oppositely directed acute axis to the longitudinal axis of the wall toward the wings of the one row. Thus air is vented through sinuous paths outwardly when the vent is positioned with the wings engaging the roof and the base wall spaced from the roof. Water and snow are prevented by the wings from entry beneath the vent into the building.
