Correction fluids are provided which include a cationic stain blocking agent, an opacifying pigment and water. Preferred opacifying pigments include an alumina treated titanium dioxide and a clay. The new correction fluids have improved bleed resistance and hiding power.

Aqueous correction fluids

An aqueous correction fluid is provided including an opacifying agent, including a first opacifying pigment selected to provide hiding power and a second opacifying pigment selected to provide suspension redispersability, a cationic film-forming polymer, a nonionic film-forming polymer, and a dispersing agent.

Correction fluid

Correction fluids are provided which include an opacifying pigment, a water-fast ink fixing agent including a cationic non-film-forming polymer, a binder including a film-forming polymer compatible with the ink fixing agent, and water. The new correction fluids have improved 'bleed' resistance when used to correct water-fast inks, such as ball-point pen inks.

An aqueous correction fluid is provided which includes a latex binder, an opacifying pigment, a protective colloid, a nonionic surfactant, an anionic dispersant, and water. Preferably, the polymer binder is provided in the form of an aqueous emulsion. The correction fluid has improved freeze-thaw stability.
