A cart for mounting a golf bag for utilizing the inherent structural rigidity of the bag to effect mounting, and providing a simplified arrangement for collapsing the cart wheels for ready transport of the cart and bag. A pair of wheels are mounted to a frame mechanism, and the frame mechanism is mounted to the bag at its handle, an insert being provided in the handle with a through-extending pivot pin which is received by clamps mounted to the frame mechanism. A handle is mounted to a second frame mechanism which in turn is rigidly attached to the bag between the bag handle and the bag opening. The frame mechanism is only pivotally movable with respect to the second frame mechanism about the pivot pin at the bag handle, and upon rotation of the handle with respect to the second frame mechanism such relative movement is effected. Additionally, a pair of cables operatively connected to the wheels and to the second frame mechanism is provided for effecting movement of the wheels toward and away from each other along their common axis in response to rotational movement of the handle.

Golf cart

An apparatus for practicing golf putting strokes. The apparatus provides a generally direct correlation of the linear distance that a ball will travel and comprises a synthetic putting surface of sufficient roughness to achieve generally direct correlation of the linear distance of travel, and a spirally arranged wall member defining a spiral track along which a ball will roll; display numerals, corresponding to the linear distance that the ball rolls, may be provided on the spiral. The apparatus may be provided with a target simulating a portion of a regulation golf hole, riser members which vary the incline of the spiral track to simulate uphill or downhill putts (or combinations thereof), a ball return device which rotates above the spiral wall and sweeps the spiral track of balls which are resting thereon, and/or at least one removable obstacle.

A fuze system for cluster weapons comprises a dispenser fuze signal generr, low complexity bomblet fuze signal receivers and a fluidic signal link. The dispenser fuze generates a pneumatic enabling and arming signal to the bomblet fuzes and opens the dispenser. Deformable signal processing diaphragms and detents enable the bomblet fuzes and arm the bomblets upon dispenser opening.

Fluidic link master/slave fuze system

A fail-safe projectile fuze safety-and-arming mechanism comprises a rotor ving thereon an explosive train component, said rotor having its mass center on the projectile spin axis. Fixedly secured to the rotor is a pinion whih engages first and second drive gears provided with clearance spaces on the circumference thereof, wherein a plurality of gear teeth have face dimensions less than the thickness of the gears. The mass centers of the drive gears are offset from the geometric centers thereof. Engagement is continuous between each of the drive gears but, because of the clearance spaces, is intermittent between the drive gears and the pinion. Rotation of the rotor is controlled by the position and dimensions of the clearance spaces. A locking ball positioned in a raceway between the rotor and the housing of the device prevents undesired movement of the rotor. For a selected projectile launcher and a selected elevation angle of launch, a constant, predetermined arming distance is achieved with the present arming mechanism irrespective of the linear velocity of the projectile.
