The invention refers in a first aspect to self-supporting film comprising green luminescent crystals (), red luminescent crystals (), and a polymer (). The green luminescent crystals () are perovskite crystals. The red luminescent crystals () are zincblende or wurzite, preferably zincblende, crystals. A second aspect of the invention refers to a solid polymer composition (). A third aspect of the invention refers to a light emitting device comprising either the solid polymer composition () or the self-supporting film.

Described are luminescent components with excellent performance and stability. The luminescent components comprise a first elementincluding first luminescent crystalsfrom the class of perovskite crystals, embedded a first polymer Pand a second elementcomprising a second solid polymer composition, said second polymer composition optionally comprising second luminescent crystalsembedded in a second polymer P. Polymers Pand Pdiffer and are further specified in the claims. Also described are methods for manufacturing such components and devices comprising such components.

Luminescent component

The present invention relates to the field of luminescent crystals (LCs) of the core-shell type, components and devices comprising the same. Particularly, the present invention relates to the manufacturing of luminescent core-shell nanocrystals, wherein said nanocrystal core comprises or consists of a perovskite crystal having a size of 3-100 nm, and said nanocrystal shell comprises a metal oxide having a thickness of 0.5-10 nm and wherein said method comprises combining suitable starting materials under oxygen-free conditions. The invention further provides for specific luminescent core-shell nanocrystals, to components and products containing such luminescent core-shell nanocrystals.

Luminescent crystals with shells

A color conversion film is provided which, upon excitation by blue light, emits green and red light. The color conversion films include at least one red light emitting layer, one green light emitting layer and sandwiched in between at least one inorganic separation layer. The green light emitting layer includes green emitting perovskite crystals.

Modified luminescent component

A light emitting component comprising a first LED light source for emitting blue light, a second LED light source for emitting red light, and a luminescent layer () comprising a solid polymer composition and green luminescent crystals. The solid polymer composition comprises a polymer. The green luminescent crystals are perovskite crystals. The first and the second light source are directed to the luminescent layer. Upon absorption of the light emitted by the first light source, the luminescent crystals emit light of a wavelength in the green light spectrum.
