A motor core coated with a multi-layer insulating film. The insulating film preferably includes in order: an electrodeposited coating film applied upon an outer surface of the motor core; a first spray coated insulating film applied upon an outer surface of the electrodeposited coating film the first film having a pencil hardness of between about 2H and 4H; and a second spray-coated insulating film applied upon an outer surface of the first spray-coated insulating film, the second film having a pencil hardness of between about 3H and 6H. The invention is additionally directed to a variety of methods for forming such insulation-coated cores.

A stepping motor stator stack and rotor stack finishing method whereby the burrs remaining on the small tooth surfaces of the stacks can be eliminated and prevented from lodging in the spaces between laminations of a plurality of stacked steel plates, without causing dulling of these small teeth. A superfinishing grindstone suitable for precision grinding, that contains either RB (rice bran) ceramic fine grains or CRB (carbonized rice bran) ceramic fine grains or a combination of both, for use as abrasive grains. A polishing-washing method includes the steps of providing a polishing media containing a fine powder of an RB ceramic and/or CRB ceramic and bringing a medium stream containing the polishing media into contact with the surfaces of a body to be worked. In this method, the polishing media solution obtained after the polishing-washing can be re-used by recycling after simply separating the particles of metal oxides and the particles of removed burrs and cutting metal chips from the solution composition by utilizing a difference in specific gravity.

There is provided powder detergent containing a surfactant, a powder modifier, a fragrance and a builder, in which the powder modifier comprises a RB ceramics powder and/or CRB ceramics powder at least as one component thereof. The present powder detergent exhibits high stain removability and powder properties as well as improved long term fragrance stability.
